Authors Note: This fan fiction is dedicated to Gabby and of course all the Mark and Lexie fans. Gabby had mentioned this to me I decided to write something for her.
After their moment in the room where Callie was examining his hand and face, Lexie went into with him to grab his stuff. He didn't bother to change out of his. After he grabbed his stuff, they both left the hospital together. Of course everyone noticing them leaving together and it didn't bother them. Mark had told Derek about their relationship and that is all she asked for; they can now be as public as they wanted to be.
Lexie couldn't help but watch the sight of Mark taking the ice pack on and off his hand, while she drove back to the hotel. "How is it?" Lexie spoke the question as his eyes were removed from his hand to her. "It will be fine." He spoke, as he couldn't get her smile out of his mind, when she agreed that it was worth it. That smile that is imprinted in his mind, which she gave to him again in that moment, before pulling into a spot at the hotel.
Once inside the room she went over to him and smiled. "Let me look at it Mark." She said as he continued to hold the ice pack over his hand. But he didn't remove the pack when she told him to let her look at it. Instead she let her hands remove the ice pack, and the brace that Callie had put on him. Seeing his hand with the cuts on them, made her heart ache a little but it also made it jump. She stepped away from him with the ice pack and brace in her hand and walked those few steps to the dresser and put the ice pack and brace on top of it. His gaze followed her as she did just that.
She sat at the corner of his bed next to him, picking up his hand in hers. She moved his hand closer to her lips and she kissed his hand gently. She let her eyes look up at him. "Does that help?" She posed the question to him, waiting for a response from him. "Yes," he replied to her as she continued to his hand. She let go of his hand after a few minutes, and let her body move closer to him, as he was moving closer to her. They both could feel the heat coming from each other.
Lexie leaned up a little as she kissed the cut that was over his right eye. She pulled back for a moment, "you should continue," Mark told her before she could even speak a word, and with that she did just that as she continued to kiss the cut over his right eye. She then kissed the bruise that was by his left eye several times. "The lip cut looks the worse," the comment fell from her lips as she moved closer to him, and he could feel her breath on her skin as she could feel his. He knew which cut she was talking about, as it was the only one she had not kissed yet, the one his mouth.
Her lips meet his lips and she gave him a kiss. He let her kiss him twice before he started to kiss back. Soon enough their kisses were getting even more intense, suddenly Lexie fell backwards on the bed. Mark moved himself as he was know clearly on top of her and their kissing resumed. Her hands moved to bottom of his scrub top as she started to pull it off him. Which had sent them once again breaking their kiss, with his scrub shirt in her hand she just flicked her hand and let go of the scrub shirt.
He stood up for a moment and could help but smile at seeing her still laying on her back looking at him as he stood there. "Come here," he spoke in this smoky tone he has. She clearly and gladly obliged to his comment as she sat up and moved her body closer to him. The heat from both of their bodies was only intensifying, her jacket and shirt were removed rather quickly as they fell back onto the bed. Somewhere in the process of their movements the rest of their clothes had come off and they managed to get themselves under the covers.
