I was listing to some music just now and though about if rose and the other guardians might listen to music at their offices so I wrote this.
Sorry if there are many mistakes. Hope you still enjoy it though.
I don't own VA…
*Rose's Point of View*
Some wonder why people say music makes life better. I'm telling you it not only makes 14 hour work days feel shorter it keeps us sane. Let me paint the picture for you.
Sometimes the Guardian Head Quarters is buzzing with music. People will have their iPods going in the break rooms. Those who have offices often had a radio or music playing from their computers. Those days are usually meaning it's going to be a good day.
Today was one of those days.
I first notice it when I went into the break room for coffee and saw a few other guardians with their iPods going. It was only 8 in the morning. Dimitri had 80's music playing in his office when I stopped by at lunch. Around 2 in the afternoon I walked by Hans office and heard country music playing. I never took Hans as a country man. I always imagine if he listens to music it would be like Dimitri's kind—the oldies kind.
Going to the break room for my 6th cup of coffee, everyone in there was listing to their iPods. Some were even singing softly under their breaths. Some wher tapping their hands or feet along with their beat. One was even dancing a little in his seat. I smiled and went to my desk, which mind you was no office. It's like one of those boring cubicals that you see in big office buildings. All rookies have one of these. If I listen closely I can some people have radio playing softly in their space. I took my iPod off it charger and put my head phone on. I smiled and sipped my coffee as the music filled my ears. It was like this all day until my sift is over and I was back home with Dimitri.
So, yes that music made the day feel shorter and kept everyone upbeat. Music makes boring work days better and feel shorter.
I just wish it was like this every day.
