Silence
It was deafening, in the circular room. He had spent 6 years amidst the bustle and chatter of 4 other dorm mates. They were gone now though all unwelcome in this room. One on the hunt, savior of us all, one by his side, like usual. One hiding because his brave blood wasn't the right sort for this sick and twisted world; the last and most recent abandonment, more courageous than anyone could have known.
Just him now, alone with the silence. Not a savior, nor side kick. Not a refugee or leader, just him alone with his silence.
