It's time for the Olympics! Who enters in it? Sonic and Mario! See behind the scenes, and at the events. Meanwhile, the competitors go through crazy events.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games: Before the Events

Many people gather to watch teams compete for medals in the Olympics. There are only two worlds that have never heard of this worldwide event. "Hey Tails!" Sonic yelled. "We're going to this thing called the Olympics!" Meanwhile, in Mushroom Kingdom, Mario got a call. "We're going to a weird event called the Olympics!" Mario announced to his friends. The next day, Team Sonic of Station Square and Team Mario of Mushroom Kingdom were in a huge coliseum. "HEY SONIC!!!" Mario yelled across the stadium. "Wasn't he Italian?" Sonic asked. Everybody shrugged. "Welcome to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing!!!" the announcer, well, announced. "We're in Beijing? I thought we were in China." Vector said. "BEIJING IS A CITY IN CHINA!!!" Shadow yelled. As fireworks went off, everybody chatted. "A RAT IS OUR OPPONENT!?" Yoshi yelled. "Yoshi, remember Sonic… from Brawl?" Mario said. "Right." Yoshi replied. Yoshi then threw an egg at Sonic. "AAAAAAHHHH!!!!!" Yoshi then screamed as Sonic chased Yoshi around the stadium. "Now it's time for the video game Olympics theme song!" the announcer said. Blasting out of the speakers was a loud, off-key, kid voice blew over the stadium. "WWWWWWEEEEE WWWWWWIIIIILLLL RRRRRROOOOOCCCCKKK YYYYOOOOOUUUUUUU!!!" the voice sang. "TOAD!" Mario screamed. "Tomorrow we will start the first event." The announcer said.
