Another bunny that plopped itself into my brain and made a nest there until it was free'd... Another teen!Castiel fic as well! Enjoy!

Castiel was exhausted. He had shed the older vessel for one more his age because caring for old Jimmy was becoming difficult. He knew time travelling was a bad idea, but Sam and Dean needed this and what type of friend would he be if he had refused. He knew he was becoming sloppy. That he was starting to fade into sleepy oblivion and yet he kept pushing through time. He had to make it back to the right time period before he got them stuck there. He didn't know what would happen if he crashed somewhere, hopefully not to the once person who would tan his hide if he ever found out that he, Castiel angel of Thursday, was time-travelling after he had been given very clear orders from said hide tanning person not to.

They had just crashed through their time zone when he felt his grip on Sam and Dean's wrists give and they, all three, plowed into the solid ground and skidded for what seemed like hours. When he finally stopped he groaned in exhaustion and pain feeling for Sam and Dean Winchester. The last thing he saw was the outline of a man running towards him before darkness clouded his vision.

Gabriel had seen it right when it happened. To any other person it looked simply like a shooting star, but to him it was more. It was his stupid little charge burning through the time zone and into the present before falling through the sky. He jumped from his stool on the deck of the bar he was currently enjoying himself at and bee-lined for the falling star. That looked like it would hurt.

When he got close enough he saw Castiel lean up on his bleeding elbows and look around before falling down again. Gabriel didn't stop running until he was kneeling by the smaller angel. He as going to kill those damned Winchesters, they were hurting his sweet little charge and didn't care enough to even notice. He gathered the small broken being into his arms and stood to his not so tall full height. Castiel curled into his chest out of habit it would seem and Gabriel smiled, just because he was being cute didn't mean he was off the hook for this. Within moments the two angels (and humans) were out of the desert and in a nice cool motel room. He cleaned Castiel up and laid both of them down in the bed.

When Sam and Dean finally came around they were startled to find their wounds bound and bruises quickly healing, but most of all being that they were no longer laying face down in the sand but were now in the coolness and softness of a motel bed. Dean jumped up and froze causing Sam to look at what caused his oh so fearless never freezing big brother to freeze like he had.

In the other bed was Gabriel and Castiel, sound asleep, wrapped into each other. Well Castiel was at least sound asleep, but Gabriel glared at them from above Castiel's head.

"Time travel? Seriously?"

Castiel muttered something in another language, enochian probably, and Gabriel mumbled back. His glare softening but never wavering from the two Winchesters.

"He's freaking exhausted because of you freak heads", He yell whispered in anger, "and you don't even care enough to notice. Let me tell you right now. If my charge falls into harm while in your care its on your heads"

Sam and Dean Winchester had never been seriously unnerved in their entire lives. Until they met protective big brother Gabriel.
