AHA!! So, you've got me on Author alert, or you're browsing my profile (But I don't see why you would do that...)
This isn't a story, not really...
This is a reference to a story....
Okay, so, I absolutely love and adore fanfiction, and all my fans
Especially you, Raindrops, Roses and Wen, because I actually know who you are, and can give you chocolate... and white chocolate.
So, you know what I'm like when I write a story based on Harry Potter....
Why don't you see what I'm like when I write a story that's not based on anything??
This is a personal advertisement for one of my own stories.
Presenting: Jane Lewis.
Jane Lewis is plain. There's nothing special about her, until one day in the Summer holidays, when she comes across an antique mirror in her attic. On the other side of the mirror is a girl from a parallel world: Sydney Potter. (That last name just fits - it's got nothing to do with Harry Potter) Sydney is stuck in a world that has been brainwashed by her father, the evil overlord Tirain Potter. She is one of the only people in the world that knows the truth - but she can't do anything to stop the endless brainwashing that occurs at the birth of every child, or at graduation from school, where a second brainwashing takes place - this is the one that determines the rest of their lives... What they will become, who they marry, how they die is all determined by this brainwashing, and Sydney is sick of it.
Reaching through the mirror, she pulls Jane Lewis into the world of Ert, a place similar to Earth. At first, Jane believes she is in a never ending nightmare, but as she becomes closer to Sydney, she realises that she can make a difference to this twisted world. But will making a difference mean hurting her new friend's father?
I'm sorry, I can't tell you, basically because I haven't planned that far ahead yet =D
But if you want to read the story as it unfolds, head on over to fictionpress (www. fictionpress .com - no spaces) and check out the pen name GabiWoods (it's the same as mine on here)
I don't think I'll call it Jane Lewis though. Maybe for now, but I'll change it later when I get a better title.
Please read it, it would make me feel very loved.
Oh, and Rains, this is the one I mentioned =]
Love Gabi xx
