I have a knack for creating weird pairings :D

Light snow fell gently in Densan City. Netto and his group of friends trudged through the snow, clad in their winter jackets, excited for the holidays.
"So, what are you guys doing for Christmas?" Yaito asked.
"Hmm… well…" Meiru began. She suddenly slipped on a patch of ice, let out a little squeal, and grasped Netto's arm.
"Meiru-chan, are you alright?" Netto asked.
"I'm fine." Meiru replied and giggled.
"Hey, Netto! Let go of my Meiru-chan!" Dekao cried.
"But… she-"
"Netto…!!"
Yaito sighed and fell into step with Tohru, who was walking behind them.
"Do you have a special someone to spend the holidays with?" she asked.
"H-huh?" Tohru blushed.
"They sure do!" Yaito giggled, laughing at the quarreling trio.
"Well… how about you?" Tohru asked innocently.
"Hmph!" Yaito's face suddenly grew very red. "A rich girl like me doesn't need anyone! I can have all the presents I want! Besides, it's not like I have to share them with some… some prodigy! Ahahaha!"
I wonder if she means Enzan? She's always blushing around him anyways… Tohru thought.
"Well, happy holidays, you guys!" Yaito said as she turned into the front gate of her mansion. The group gave their farewell and went their separate ways.
Tohru found himself thinking about what Yaito said. It's true. Everyone seems to have a special someone except for me.
He wandered for a while and found himself in front of Higure-san's chip shop, Higureya. Good idea. Maybe I'll say 'hi' to Shuuko-san and Higure-san.
"Yay, Aquaman!" Iceman chirped. Tohru chuckled.
He pushed open the door and walked inside. "Good afternoon!" he called.
"Good afternoon! Welcome to Higureya. Please look around!" Two voices chorused.
"Oh, hello Tohru-kun!" Shuuko greeted him.
"Hello Shuuko-san. Good afternoon, Higure-san."
"Iceman!" Aquaman cried. Everyone laughed.
"So, Tohru-kun, what brings you here?" Higure asked.
"Oh, nothing really… I was just wandering."
"Alright. In that case, take a look around. Maybe you'll see something. You know, these make great gifts!"
At that moment, Mariko-sensei happened to walk by. She paused at the window, smiling, waved, and then continued walking.
"M-M-Mariko-sensei!!" Higure cried. He tore off his apron, grabbed a giant bouquet of flowers sitting under the counter, and rushed out the door, leaving the two dumbfounded.
"Shuuko-san, that's enough for today. Don't forget to lock up!" he yelled behind him. "Wait for me, demasu!!"
Tohru and Shuuko sweatdropped.
"He leaves his precious chip shop for Mariko-sensei?" Tohru asked Shuuko.
"Well, you know what they say about spending the holidays with that special someone." Shuuko replied, taking her apron off.
Tohru remembered what Yaito said and wondered if he would be spending the holidays alone.
"Well, Tohru-kun, if you're not busy, shall we walk home together?"
The question caught Tohru off guard. "Um, sure."

Outside in the crisp cool air, everyone seemed excited to spend the holidays with their special someone. That is, everyone except Tohru, it seemed. He sighed, a cloud of breath forming, then slowly fading away.
"What's wrong?" Shuuko asked.
"Hah? Oh, it's n-nothing, really."
"Ok. That's good. Well, then, who are you spending the holidays with?"
Tohru was about to answer, 'Nobody in particular', when childish laughing came from his PET.
Iceman and Aquaman were having fun playing in snow that Iceman had created.
Tohru and Shuuko smiled.
"Nobody in particular." Tohru said.
"Oh. That's alright. I don't have a 'special someone' either. But…"
Quick as a flash, Shuuko leaned forward and brushed her lips against Tohru's, then ran off, yelling, "Merry Christmas, Tohru-kun!" behind her shoulder.
A very surprised Tohru just stood there staring back at her, his cheeks red half from the cold and half from blush.
