As the sun sank below the horizon, the two siblings waited anxiously for the next day to arrive.
"Shinigami at last!" sighed James, a boy with the appearance of a 15 year old boy with dark brown eyes and black hair, just covering the eyes.
"Technically we're not shinigami yet you nut" snapped Ashley.
Ashley had both dark brown eyes and hair that stretched to her shoulders.
The two was sitting cross legged on the floor eating sour worms and drinking coke.
"Stop insulting me like that!" yelled James.
"Hehehe" laughed Ashley.
"Anyway, I hope we get into the 10th Division! I really want to meet Captain Hitsugaya!" said James.
"Captain Hitsugaya you suck up" mocked Ashley.
Ashley reached out her hand for another sour worm as James took the whole bag and ran away.
"Give me the worms!" glared Ashley.
Ashley ran up to James and smacked him in the back of his head with her right palm. As James dropped down to the floor, he dropped the bag of sour worms exactly at Ashley's feet.
"Why thank you James! How nice of you to offer me sour worms" teased Ashley.
"I swear, I will get you back one day! I will get you back!" said James, while rubbing the back of his head.
Ashley picked up the bag of sour worms and took one out. Throwing and missing the throw that was aimed at her mouth but instead made contact with her eyes. James stared at her blankly for a moment and then bursted out laughing.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Serves you right for hitting me in the head!" cried James.
"Don't you dare say anything about it!" screeched Ashley.
"Are you alright Ash?" asked James.
"Hell no I'm not! My eye stings like crazy!" replied Ashley.
James ran out of the door and coming back in a few minutes with a bucket of water. He placed the bucket of water neatly in front of Ashley.
"I'm sorry Ash, here wash your eyes" smiled James.
"You better be!" said Ashley while splashing water onto her eyes.
"Alright, let's sleep now. We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow" whispered James.
"Agreed" said Ashley.
"Night Ash!" said James as he headed for his bedroom.
"Night loser" laughed Ashley as she blew a raspberry at James' direction.
