Huna
Harry trudged through the woods, tired of everything. No one was talking to him and he was sick of being called mad for thinking Voldemort had returned. He was desperate for peace.
"It's okay, I won't hurt you," Harry stopped and listened. He knew that voice. He turned around when he heard footsteps behind him. "Hello, Harry." He smiled.
"Hey, Luna. Talking to the Thestrals again?" she smiled and threw a piece of meat towards them.
"Yes, they're very tame today." she said dreamily, sitting down beside a tree stump. Harry sat with her and watched the Thestrals move about.
"How have you been?" he asked her, and Luna smiled.
"Oh, not bad. My things are still missing; I think someone is deliberately taking them now, and I've been banned from the common room, but it's all fine." she said, leaning against him.
Harry furrowed his brow and wrapped his arm around her. "Why's that, Luna? Surely they can't do that?" he asked her softly.
"Oh, they told me nargles didn't exist and I wasn't clever enough to be in Ravenclaw. They told me to join the Hufflepuffs... said I would fit in better..." she said quietly and Harry could hear her voice tremble.
He held her tighter, "it's okay, Luna. You're always welcome in the Gryffindor common room, and I'm sure the Hufflepuffs will much nicer than the Ravenclaws." he said softly, pressing a kiss to her head.
Luna spun and wrapped her arms tightly around him, muttering through her tears, "thank you, Harry."
He smiled and stroked her hair, "anything for you, Luna."
