Just a silly drabble, hope you like

Bend Me, Shape Me

"Unghh!"

Arthur stopped mid-stride down the corridor. He looked up at the sound and realised that he was outside a small ante-chamber that led from Morgana's quarters. The lady herself had gone out riding and so there really shouldn't have been anyone in her chambers.

"Just a bit more." That was Gwen's voice. Nothing unusual about Morgana's personal maid being there except that she appeared to be talking to herself. No, not herself – Arthur listened some more.

"I can't!" That was definitely Merlin! What on earth was going on?

"You can, Merlin, just a little bit more… Bend your knees… lift your thighs higher…move your arms and reach back…" Her voice was getting more excited. "That's it! Right there, hold it right there!"

"Arghh, I have to let go, Gwen, I can't stand it anymore." Merlin's voice was agonised and there was the definite sound of him panting for breath.

Arthur's ears were burning, whatever was going on between Gwen and Merlin, he didn't like the sound of it one bit!

"Oh, Merlin, you were great, I'm so impressed you could do that. It took me ages to practice and do it correctly." Her voice was full of admiration.

That did it! Arthur had to find out what they were doing before his mind filled with some very unpleasant and unwelcome images. He burst in through the door to be confronted by a sight he would never have imagined seeing in a million years.

On the floor on a large towel lay Merlin. He was on his stomach, his knees bent back so his heels were touching his bottom. Meantime, his shoulders were stretched back behind him, elbows bent and he was straining to hold onto his toes. His slender face had gone the colour of a ripe tomato with the effort.

Next to Merlin, Gwen stood with a proud and happy expression.

"Merlin!" exclaimed Arthur. "What are you doing down there?"

At this point, Merlin let go of his feet, exhaling with relief. "Ah, hello, Arthur. Gwen was just showing me a new form of exercise. Apparently, that pose is called the 'Yoga Frog'."

Gwen beamed at Arthur. "I was shown it by a merchant I met in the town. He is from a distant land and he said this was a common form of meditation and exercise. It's called 'yoga' and he said it's supposed to centre the mind and body. Would you like to try? The one that Merlin was doing helps flexibility and strengthens the abdomen."

"Uh, no thanks, Guinevere. I think I'll stick to my sword."

"Oh, alright." Gwen looked a little crestfallen at Arthur's refusal then realised where she was and what she was doing! "Oh, my lord, I'm sorry. Please, it was quiet here while Lady Morgana was out and I wanted to show Merlin about yoga. We did not mean any harm!"

Arthur was touched by the plea in Gwen's voice. "No, of course not. It's just that when I heard your voices, I thought…"

"What did you think?" asked Merlin slyly… his blue eyes twinkling with impish glee. He knew fine well how Arthur thought when it came to anything to do with Gwen.

"Uh, nothing," Arthur glared at Merlin. "I thought you might have been in some sort of trouble, that's all."

"Oh, Arthur, that was very sweet of you to be so concerned." Gwen impulsively placed an arm on his.

"Yes, Arthur, very sweet," echoed Merlin with a smile.

"Shut up, Merlin," Arthur replied as a slow flush crept up the back of his neck.
