One peaceful day, a pudgy man was sitting in a room, trying to think of a new robot.

"No, no, no. This will never work!" He grumbled to himself. Finally, he crumbled up his planning paper and sighed. "I'm about ready to give up."

"Hey! Egghead!" A voice said behind him. The Doctor looked around and saw what was not a certain blue hedgehog, but one of his pets, a small black cat with a red spiked collar and surprising red eyes, with a scar across the left eye.

"Scratch, don't call me that!" He scolded. "You made me think that blue rat came here for no reason!"

"Sorry. He's just called you that so many times, I've tended to say it." Scratch apologized with a hint of amusement in his voice. "But the real reason that I came is because I think I have a plan that could stop Sonic for good!"

Eggman turned his chair around, full attention to him. "I'm listening."

"Okay, so you know how Sonic turns into a wolf every full moon, right? I was thinking, since there's a full one tonight, we could somehow make him a wolf permanently, and make him really big, like dino size, and he would be chased out!"

The Doctor gasped in delight. "That's brilliant! I would've never thought of that!" He rushed off and started building both machines right away.

Scratch smiled and shook his head. "That guy sure likes to get busy. Well, *yawn* I guess I'll take a quick nap."
