Her Troll Face #Felicity #Zoom
Summary: What if Barry and Felicity were wheelchair buddies?
After six years pursuing a career in CSI work, nine months in a coma and two years as The Flash this was by far the hardest task Barry had ever faced:
Out wheeling Felicity Smoke around their Lair.
The speedster fumbled with the wheels, "Uhh," he slammed into the side ramp.
The blonde cackled.
She wheeled around him and the center console like it was easier than foosball.
After eight minutes his head began to spin.
Barry's eyes sparked with electricity then sputtered out, he swore.
He flew down the ramp and followed the hacker around in circles.
A notification vibrated the phone in his pocket.
"Shit!"
Multi-tasking wasn't his brightest idea.
"Too slow!" Felicity gave a wide, cheeky grin.
Barry pulled out his phone and saw The Troll Song and face pop up.
"Woohoo! Come on Fastest Man Alive! What do you got?"
He glared, he tried to move faster.
The wheels captured and bit down hard on his fingers.
"Mother Flubber!"
He crashed into something.
It wasn't a pole.
…
At least not this time.
"Christ Barry! What are you and Felicity doing down here?"
Oilver's girlfriend passed by triumphantly, "Beating Barry in a race. By at least a mile."
"You can't prove that," the Scarlett Speedster defended.
"Sure can! I have an app on my phone."
That comment caused him to try and wheel backwards, "Shit," he slammed into something.
Oliver tried to step him, "Barry, do you need hel-"
"Nope. I got it, thanks Ollie."
That caused the former billionaire to shoot a look at Felicity.
Felicity turned off her Troll music, "What? Come on, you know I'll replace anything we break. Well…he breaks," she laughed.
Oliver stepped in front of her as she stopped.
They both watched Barry try and catch up.
He sighed, forehead crinkling, "Felicity…why does something tell me you weren't helping him with…"
"Zoom snapping his spine with one punch?" She finished for him, "That topic never came up."
"Felicity-"
Crash.
"-Oliver.'
"My bad I'll clean that up!"
The brunette leaned forwards with a grimace, "As soon as I figure out how to use this thing…" he made a grab for a dustpan and broom.
He sighed again, looking down at her, eyes holding the same puppy dog look they had all year.
Felicity grabbed his hand affectionately, "Look Oliver, I'm happy you want to help, I really am, but that's not what Barry needs to hear right now. He was publicly humiliated in front of the entire city that relies on him to save them."
"…Felicity."
"Oliver," She corrected softly, "Just let me deal with this please. I may be stuck in this chair forever but Barry's not. The least I can do is make him forget about everything that happened while it lasts. Talking about it would only make it worse. Zoom destroyed him. Oliver. Don't you think he deserves to take a break from that?"
A gust of wind blew her hair back.
Felicity looked up at her fiance in alarm, "My top dog position is being threatened," She abruptly wheeled back onto the track.
The Green Arrow just shook his head and grinned at Felicity chasing down a speedster with scary precision.
Barry was in good hands.
Right now they could just forget about Zoom and Damian Dhark.
Crash.
"Felicity!"
"I will pay for any damages!"
Fin.
