Alone: The Guardian of Time

This poem is dedicated to Meiou Setsuna, the Guardian of Time, with prayer that she may no longer be alone.

An endless space,

Cold and dark,

A deadly mist,

Liquid gas,

She stands alone

Shrouded, a silhouette

Shadowed by fog,

Guarding, protecting.

A sacrifice:

Eternal destiny leaves her

Abandoned, lonely,

Forever solo,

Forever standing there,

In endless space,

Alone.

She grieves,

For she sees suffering.

She yearns to intervene,

To break the rules

For harmony's sake.

And yet

It is her fate to retreat

And do nothing.

She weeps

Yet is unheard.

She has no shoulder,

No support,

For fate blessed her cruelly.

She shouldn't have to suffer,

Yet day by day she feels

Pain.

There are many

For whom things have changed,

But among those she'll never be.

To her it is a dream:

One which will never come

True.

She's destined to be alone,

Forever for eternity.

There's nothing she can do

But stand there,

Shrouded in mist,

Shadowed by fog,

Guarding, protecting,

Alone.

I'm here: The Helping Hand of the Senshi of the Sea

This poem is dedicated to Kaiou Michiru, whose kind heart and spirit comforts those in need.

If one were to view

Her garnet eyes,

They would see many things.

They would see wisdom,

A serene character,

Always willing to share advice.

They would see kindness,

A helping hand,

A shoulder on which to cry.

They would see caring,

A motherly figure,

A woman of respect and honour.

But they see not what I see.

I see pain,

A far-off, distant gaze

Staring into the depths of loneliness.

I see suffering,

A broken figure,

A fallen angel with shattered wings.

I see sadness,

A woman with no shoulder to lean on,

Her emotions locked away

For fear of being a burden.

She needs me to be there.

She must know that she's alone no more.

She no longer has to suffer

The terrible fate destined for her.

She is no burden, but a friend in need,

And help I shall surely give.

I'm here.
