A/n: Hey everyone. Here part three of what I'm dubbing the "Happy" Series. Takes part a few hours after Happier Than I Imagined as Ron and Hermione reflect on what they found out. Enjoy.
Dislaimer: I don't own it. Never will.
Hermione sat down at her dresser removing the last of her make- up.
"I think it could work out." She said looking at the reflection of her fiancé in the mirror.
"What could?" Ron said sitting on the edge of the bed looking confused.
"Harry and Ginny. I mean, I can't believe that it's taken this long for them to get back together. I think when Harry broke up with her that it was just until he got rid of Voldemort. That they would just automatically get back together. But of course things weren't that easy."
"Things are never that easy when Harry's involved. You should know that." Ron replied. Moving so that he was sat completely on the bed, his back against the pillows.
"But that's not the point. Harry thought that he was doing the right thing. He always does. But he never got over her. Not really."
"What about what's her face? Mary. Michelle. Maude." Ron shrugged. "Wasn't he happy with her?"
"Her name was Marie and it was all a front. Ginny was with Byron then. He thought that she'd moved on so he tried to."
"How do you know all this stuff?" Ron asked her amazed.
"I watch people Ron. I notice these things."
"How come you never noticed that I liked you then?" Ron asked her poking his tongue out.
"Because you like anything with two legs and boobs." She said moving across the room to sit on the bed next to him.
"Thanks." Ron said. "I dunno. I don't want him to mess her around. He's my best mate, but she's my sister. And that matters. I don't want either of them to get hurt."
"I think this time they're in it for the long haul. I think They know what the other means to them. They've spent so much time apart that they don't want to screw it up. I'm not saying that they'll end up engaged tomorrow or anything. I mean it took us long enough to do that." She added, earning a playful slap from Ron.
"But they seem happy." She continued. "It was nice to see a real smile on Harrys face for more than a couple seconds. I don't think I've seen him that Happy since before Dumbledore died. Since him and Ginny were together last time actually. They're good for each other."
"I suppose." Ron said somewhat reluctantly.
"Oh come on Ronald. She's not a child any more. I know she's your sister, but she's all grown up. Anyway wouldn't you rather it was Harry than some random guy you don't know? At least you know he's a good guy."
"Yeah I suppose so. It's just a bit of a shock." He said leaning over and putting an arm around Hermione.
"Oh Ron you are an idiot sometimes." Hermione said leaning against him. "They were together before. It can't be that much of a surprise that they got back together. I thought that it was always on the cards at some point. It was just a question of how long it would take. For me anyway. You are happy for them aren't you?" She asked.
"Yes. Yeah, of course I am. Really."
"He's not going to hurt her Ron. Stop worrying, this is Harry we're talking about. Things are different to last time. It'll be ok." She said kissing the edge of his mouth.
"I know and I'm happy for them."
A/n: Well there you go. You know what to do.
