Helga's Poem

By Miss Matched

Disclaimer: I own nothing. WiiGii.

They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree,

So the person I adore is the one I strive to be.

Cuz, criminy, I'm forgotten by my own family,

And sometimes my adored is the only one who can see me for me.

Sometimes I close my eyes and hide,

the pain I feel welling up inside

And when he reaches out, he can't reach past my pride

And I fear the day when I find my soul has died.

How long can I go on living like this?

Dreaming of the one boy that I long to be with,

and yet real conversation with him is hit and miss.

How can the one boy that gives me pains can give me such bliss?

They said the apple never fell too far from the tree,

So is there no use in changing who I must be?

I guess I'll swallow my tears, and be a Pataki,

and pray someday he'll understand, and maybe, just maybe, love me.

AN: My brain fell asleep, and this came out. Sorry to everyone who wanted the next chapter of For Her. Speaking of which, life's getting hectic, so it may not be out until Wednesday.

Anyhow, thanks for reading my little, annoying poem ramble.

Peace, and God bless yer lil butt!
