I've been wanting to do them for ages.

Hehe, badly worded.

Kind of contrasted to An Ugly Green.

And back to rationality! Review thanks x

He Liked Her

He liked the way her thin hair splayed out behind her small face when she stretched out on his bed.

He liked the way he could trace her delicate collar bones with his long fingers, and watch her shut her eyes contently.

He liked the way she whispered his name when he made love to her.

He liked the way she walked with a spring in her step, almost dancing.

He liked the way little patches of red appeared on her lightly freckled cheeks when she got mad.

He liked the way she would wake him up at three AM to tell him a joke she couldn't remember earlier that day.

He liked the way, even when he had blood streaming down his face from a rogue Bludger, she wouldn't take her eyes off the Quaffle.

He liked the way she'd run to him and let him lean on her once the game was over, as if his life was at stake.

He liked the way she pursed her lips when she was concentrating.

He liked the way she frowned at him when he called her by her full name.

'Ginevra.'

He liked the way he would be answered with large brown eyes, sparkling with irritation.

'I love you. You know?'

He liked the way she would look away, and wait long enough, always making him think she wasn't going to answer this time.

'I love you too.'

He liked the way she would answer so evenly.

Every time.

He liked the way she was so very defiant.

Even for reasons he didn't like.

'Don't push me, please, Dean,' she would snap bitterly, the tell-tale red-patches clouding her cheeks.

He liked the way she would roll her eyes. He just didn't like the way she would roll them when he apologized.

'I'm sorry.' And he would smile weakly. 'I love you.'

And her eyes would turn downcast, the way he liked. 'Yeah.'

He liked the way she would always try to spare feelings when it was possible.

He liked the way she would start with his name, so very softly.

'Dean.'

He liked the way she would take his hand and smile faintly.

He liked the way she thought this was reassuring.

But was wrong.

'It's not working, Dean. You know that though, right?'

He liked the way she didn't realize he was lying when he told her he did.

He liked the last words she spoke to him.

'I'm sorry.'

He liked the way she kissed him for one last time.

He liked the way she didn't linger, and walked swiftly away as soon as she had delivered the news.

He liked the way she didn't see him cry.

He liked the way the glass of his cup cut into his hand; he had squeezed it too hard when he saw them embrace.

He liked the way it didn't hurt as much as she did.

He liked how much he loved her.

He liked how much he didn't like that he loved her.

In short, he liked her.

God, I love Dean. He is one of my favourite characters. Alfred Enoch is so gorgeous, and in the book Dean's the nicest guy!

Fuck off, Ginny.

Review please. Thanks for reading. x
