Hey everyone!

Remember how I talked about the Nya and Kai head-canon in my last Blackout chapter? Here's that one-shot.

Most likely the grammar errors while Kai and Nya are speaking are intentional: especially the bad use of Shakespearen language. XD

~Wooden Swords~

-A Kai and Nya Sibling Oneshot-

7-year-old Kai Blevins lived for the days his father went to visit friends.

His father would leave for a few hours, giving Kai and Nya some alone time to do whatever they wanted.

Kai would crawl underneath the deck and find his and Nya's wooden swords. He'd plan the perfect story-line for their little adventure that day, and then scamper off into the house to find his 6-year-old sister.

On this particular day, however, his plan was changed.

"Princess Nya!" he says in a fake accent, standing in Nya's bedroom doorway. "Come anon and hither to your place!"

"But Kaiiii," Nya complained, dropping her crayons to the floor. "I don't wanna be the princess anymore."

"But you're always the princess!" Kai cries, his sword arm drooping.

"But I wanna be the hero!" Nya says, holding a red crayon up in the air. "Victory hencefroth!" Kai laughs.

"It's henceforth, sis."

"I like hencefroth better!" Nya says stubbornly.

"Well, you have to say it right or you're the princess again!" Kai puts his hands on his hips.

"No fair," Nya pouts. "I'm wittle."

"Just yesterday you says you weren't little," Kai retorts.

"I grew!" Nya cries.

"Fine," Kai says. "You can be the hero. Let's go outside."

"YAYYY!"

Little Nya follows Kai outside, her black hair whipping around in the wind. Her dark blue eyes watch the fluffy clouds in the sky slowly move by.

"Nya, if you're the hero, than I'm the sidekick," Kai says.

"But that don't make sense," Nya replies.

"Neither does a girl hero."

"Kai, you're a meanie!"

"I was kidding, Nya," Kai says gently, patting her head. "Now," he says, putting back on his obviously fake accent. "To the bush-dragon! Prithee anon henceforth!" Nya giggles.

"Such funny words," she grins.

"Now, we shall battle," Kai says in a melodramatic voice.

"Attack!" screams Nya shrilly, stabbing the bush repetitively. Kai grins. If this was a real sword fight, Nya would've stabbed her opponent right through the stomach—a fatal blow. Kai can't help but to be proud of his little sister.

"Kai, is he dead yet?" Nya asks cutely.

"No, he's just angry!" Kai says. "ROAAAR!" Nya screams then giggles.

"You turn Kai! Get him! Get the bad dragon!"

Kai lunges forward, attacking the bush. "Hiyah! Yah! Die, evil villainy!" Nya giggles harder. "Finishing blow!" Kai screams, and slices off a stick on the bush.

"Dead now?" Nya asks.

"I cut off his head!" Kai says proudly. "I shall be knighted!"

"What 'bout me?" Nya looks up at Kai with her big blue eyes.

"Of course, sis," Kai grins.

"I was worried you gonna die," Nya says suddenly.

"I won't die without saying goodbye!" Kai says dramatically. Nya giggles.

"You're the bestest Kai!"

"I love you, Nya," he smiles, hugging her. "Don't ever leave me."

"I won't!" she beams. Kai smiles.

"Good girl."
