It was early morning when Temari was finally, officially, off of her mission, and allowed to return home, to the Hyuuga estate's main house, and to her beloved Hinata.

She'd been gone far too long for her own comfort, and as she walked through the awakening Leaf Village, nodding her greetings to the people setting up their shops, and opening their stores. Maybe...

Ino's shop was on the way home; the thought brought a smile to Temari's lips, and even as she had to wait a few minutes for the younger woman to open up, she kept her hint of a smile, slipping into the building and taking her time with the selection, after all, someone as regal as Hinata deserved only the best.

Paying for her self-made bouquet, Temari returned to the streets, eagerly making her way to the estate, knowing fully well that the pale-eyed Hinata would be awake. It didn't take long to find her. Her long hair was pulled up in a messy bun, various strands falling around her pale face, framing the delicate features.

It had been a long time since the woman had opted to leave her life as a kunoichi, turning to the medical field instead, and as such, Temari took advantage of the other's current distraction, the slight frown directed at her book was more than enough proof of her infatuation with the reading.

Taking the oportunity, Temari sneaked in quitely, careful not to loose the fluidity of her movement and always watchful for any sign which would indicate the other's knowledge of her presence.

It wasn't until Temari was standing next to her that she looked up, her byakugan activating as she sprung from her chair, only to ease her stance as she looked at the woman before her. "Temari..." She smiled, and received a kiss from the blond she had grown to love.

"I missed you," Temari whispered, placing the bundle of flowers in Hinata's grasp and kissing her once more.
