The young boy stopped to stare out at the wide expanse of ocean ahead of him. He had never to this close to the sea before, so he was amazed to watch the waves crash against the shore with such force. He was simply captivated by what he saw, not the ocean, but on a large rock jutting out of the waves. Atop the rock sat a creature more beautiful than anything he had ever seen. Her hair was a rich mahogany that whipped about her face like the water on the shore. Her eyes were a beautiful golden brown, just like the color your baking should be to be perfect, framed with thick, dark lashes that seemed to kiss her cheeks every time she blinked. Her lips were the color of cherry petals, and looked just as soft. Where her legs should have been was a long, shimmering tail littered with layered scales the color of the setting sun on a perfect day.
As the boy continued to stare, his golden hair being blown from his face in the wind, the young maiden upon the rock looked to him and spoke. "Come, fair prince. Swipe me away in your arms so that we may-
"Err, Senpai? What are you doing?" The young girl-dressed-as-a-boy asked, standing in the doorway holding a cup of commoner's coffee in her right hand.
"Oh, nothing, Haruhi! Isn't that right, Mommy?" Tamaki quickly stammered out before quickly shutting the notebook he had been holding in his hands and looking over to Kyoya with a begging look.
"Well, our prince over here decided to share a story with us centered around you two." The tall boy stated simply, pushing his glasses up before getting back to typing whatever it was in his computer.
"MOMMY, YOU JUST EMBARRESSED ME IN FRONT OF HARUHI, TAKE THAT BACK!" Tamaki yelled as his face quickly started to turn red. He swiftly covered his face and went to sulk in the corner until he heard Haruhi speak up. "Can I see it, Senpai?" Tamaki instantly looked over with a joyous look on his face as he positively sparkled. "Do you really want to see it? Here! I even drew a picture!" He said, opening up the notebook to reveal much writing and a picture of a short-haired mermaid.
"Wow, Senpai, this is..." Haruhi trailed off, trying to think of the word. "Great? Amazing? Inspiring?" Tamaki tried to add, grinning like an idiot. "Bad."
"WHAT?" Tamaki squeaked, instantly looking depleted. "I'm sorry, Tamaki-Senpai, but it's just not that great. The story's good and all, but it's all been done before. Maybe you could try to be a bit more original?" "Original..." Tamaki muttered as he sulked in the corner.
