This is just a little something else that I have written. Not much to it. Based on my own childhood memories. My inspirations for this was my good friends as a child Johnathan and Teresa and they don't even know it :P

Dedication: To Zanisha because she's the one who put RikuxLenne into my head.

A Kiss of Innocence

RikuxLenne

Rating: K+

Lenne could still remember her life as a child in the Destiny Islands. They were sweet memories that she loved to replay in her head every chance that she got. They are what incouraged her to grow into the woman she is now, happy. Even so far now she still felt so close to her home world, and all she had to do was stare into the dark void of the dark clouds at night. Clear nights like these were the best, they allowed her to view the spotted specks. Her eyes danced along the stars that were dotted across the night sky. Stars, Paopu. She thought as her mind flashed backwards once again.

She loved it here on the islands. The weather was beautiful and everyday she would go out and run into the cooled ocean waters to escape the heat and humidity. It was never cold and never too hot. Storms came and went but never stayed long, it was perfect for a child at their age. Lenne would always sit on the Paopu tree and gaze out at the horizon while the ficklest of breezes played with her dark tresses. Or sometimes she would hangout in the tree house and drag the childish Riku with her.

However, now she giggled as she ran across the thick sand, barefoot, away from her chaser, Riku. They had been good friends ever since she came here and chasing each other was always their favorite thing to do on the Islands.

Riku was catching up to her but before his small hand could touch her form something happened and she ended up falling backwards onto her butt. It all happened so quick. First she felt the sand in her pants and then Riku's five year old lips against her own, in a spider-man-kiss style. Before her young mind could contemplate what was going on Riku had back away and ran off leaving Lenne there to wonder.

Her mind, back in the present, began to think on that. She had been so young, she had no idea what happened.

It was a kiss, just a small peck, but a kiss none the less. Then it hit her, and the thought made her smile.

It was simply a kiss of innocence.
