The rumors speak of a King, one whose power was matched by no other, until he died to save his kingdom. This is the tale of mighty King Eclipse the Immortal.

So reads the epitaph that lies in the deepest parts of the Canterlot Archives. What tale, does it speak of? I, as a scholar and writer, have yet to find any; Princess Celestia has told me herself that such a tale does not exist.

What do these inscriptions mean? Do they perhaps speak of the origin of the Elements of Harmony? For what purpose were they written, and for whom was it written? Who is King Eclipse the Immortal?

Well, I, Quillin Words the unicorn will take you upon a journey like no other; together, you and I will rewrite the history of Equestria. Follow me as we delve into the history and folklore that is the Tale of King Eclipse.

So this was just an idea I had to put out there. It's basically the story that was my OC Quillin Word's first bestseller, and I feel it's got a good plot behind it. Tell me what y'all think, but I won't be continuing this until I finish "Awoken".
