I Want to Know

Simon:

Simon sighed unhappily as he looked up at the enormous, ancient school. His mother sent him here, to Blackwell Academy, after she learned of his vampirism.

"It will be good for you to get out of the city, Simon" she had said "Just promise me you will not do anything"

So now; he was starting a new school upstate with no Clary to get him through the day. At least no one here had known him before, so they couldn't comment on the "changes" he had suffered. Resolving himself to the fact that he needed to stay here for the sake of his mother, he made his way to the front office.

Ava:

"Just file one last thing, and you can go to class, honey" the secretary, Mrs. Willow said.

"Sure thing" She replied

Ava hated working in the office. It was terribly dull; nothing ever happened except the occasional parent- principal conferences. But Ava needed money, and what was more convenient than a job at school? Suddenly, she heard Mrs. Willow gasp. Worried, Ava turned around to see him. He was the most beautiful boy she had ever seen, and apparently the middle-aged Mrs. Willow thought so, too. Ava realized she was staring, and quickly asked

"Is there something I can help you with?"

"Oh, I'm a new student here. I was supposed to come to sort out my paperwork"

He is coming to school with me, Ava realized. Oh my god. I am going to see that perfect by every day.

After an awkward pause, she responded

"Name?"

"Simon Lewis"

After Ava had filed Simon's papers, and he left, she breathed out a sigh of relief. He made her nervous. Perhaps the reason was his deep, almost black eyes, alive with a spark of amusement, and framed by thick lashes. Or maybe his flawless alabaster skin and well muscled, yet slim body. The most likely option though is the fact that he possessed an unearthly beauty and grace that intimidated the small, awkward girl. She didn't think that it was possible for anyone to move with that speed and grace, but here was the proof. Simon was a kind person, but there was something off about him, and she was going to find out what was.
