Summary: Sam Evans was finally returning to McKinley. Would they welcome him back?
Spoilers: Season 2 and Season 3 Episode 1.

Disclaimer: If I owned Glee, Will would be married to Emma, Rachel would be pregnant with Finn's baby and Blaine and Kurt would be married and have baby Klaines. Therefore I do not own Glee.
So I've been role playing as Sam Evans recently and I've been role playing some Fabrevans. Then I thought about what would happen when he returned. This is the result. Enjoy!
Sam was really excited about returning to Lima. He missed his friends and he missed Glee club. The thing he missed the most about Ohio was Quinn Fabray.
She had so much of an impact on his life. The months they had spent together were something that he would never forget. His iPod contained a playlist of all the songs they had sung together and any songs that reminded Sam of Quinn.
One of his favourite songs from this playlist was Smile by Uncle Kracker. It described their relationship to a T.
Sure, he had been with Santana and Mercedes, but neither of them had compared to what he had had with Quinn.
But she had been with Finn when he left. For a while anyway. He just hoped that when he returned to McKinley, she would at least be happy.
When he arrived at McKinley, the first person he saw was Mercedes. She was walking with a tall, black football player. Her boyfriend, he assumed. She spotted him and ran towards him. "Sam!" He became engulfed in a hug. "Hey Mercedes." She pulled away and smiled at him. "This is Marcus, my boyfriend." Marcus smiled at Sam and Sam smiled in return.
He made it a bit further down the hallway before running into Kurt, Blaine, Tina and Mike. They all greeted him warmly. He really had missed them and loved being back.
Rachel and Finn found him on his way to Maths. Rachel hugged him and Finn shook his hand. "We missed you buddy!" As they left, he could hear Rachel talking excitedly about Sectionals.
Santana and Brittany were talking softly as he walked past them. Santana stopped him and flashed him a huge smile. He rushed off before she could crawl all over him.
Puck and Artie saw him as he was entering the choir room. They were walking with an Irish boy. Puck high fived Sam and Artie gave him a thumbs up. They introduced the new boy as Rory, a foreign exchange student.
It wasn't until he entered the choir room that he saw Quinn. Her blonde hair was still short and she was wearing a knee high white flowing dress. She was still as beautiful as ever.
She turned around and saw him. She stopped dead and stared. After a long time, she smiled warmly. Sam knew that someday, they would end up back together. When she reached him and pulled him into a hug, it felt right. It felt like home. He was finally back home and he loved it!
