Halo: Infinite War
Chapter 1: The Blood Soaked Warrior
As he ran among the fires of hell itself battle was around him, John-117 aka Master Chief moved like lightning among the clouds weaving and dodging the incoming shots. As blood flowed like rivers around him he fired upon Covenant forces moved about like shadows. But, soon as it had begun it also ended as both John-117 and his men were surrounded by the enemy. Master Chief had a choice fight until his last breath and risk losing all the lives at stake or give up. He nodded to his group of men to get ready to take aim. Then Master Chief made shout which was long and loud as he distracted them with all that noise. He shouted out the order to fire on his foes! Suddenly the battlefield was filled with both shot and shell as his opponents fell one by one but, Master Chief didn't care as he pulled a sniper rifle from his back he aimed at the leader of the enemy battalion.
Then, he saw a perfect chance to end the battle once and for all! Thus, shot rang out as the Covenant watched their leader fall to the ground with a bullet within his head. Soon after a group of Covenant ships flew towards them as their weapons fired off killing his now surprised men.
"Retreat to the rocks!" Master Chief shouted off to his men.
They did as told running towards the rocks while the Covenant troops and their ships fired upon them! Then, as Master Chief watched the man in front of him, get crushed by Gravity Hammer wielding Covenant troop. He moved into action while twenty of his surviving troops escaped to the cover of the rocks firing off shots when they could. The blood of the soldier who had just been crushed into limp form in front of his very eyes was now on his armor. Enraged John-117 moved into a heightened state of action. He used the back of his sniper rifle to knockdown his foe while his enemy swung wildly at him. He then clapped his hand together while opponent was in mid-swing but, dropped his sniper rifle while doing so. He pushed with all his strength to throw his opponents weapon to the ground, he then grabbed a Needler from the group shot into his enemies' throat. Then, he took his sniper rifle and ran and leaped over the safety of the rocks. But, he knew this would be one hell of a fight!
