AN: The time line for BIOTA makes no sense whatsoever, so even though they are wearing their uniforms in this scene, I'm going to assume that the fight in the coffee shop takes place the day after the party.

"...I thought I was but I never even had a boyfriend before," Blaine said, outwardly calm.

Kurt had seen this fake calm on Blaine before, during the whole Jeremiah thing and as Blaine continued talking about how he might be bisexual, something about this whole mess just fell into place.

"Blaine, was that the first time you really kissed someone?"

Blaine seemed surprised by this apparent change in subject and just stared at Kurt for a few moments before nodding.

And that nod was all Kurt needed to be able to push the hurt and jealousy aside and start focusing on helping this beautiful but oblivious boy through his confusion.

"Blaine, it's entirely possible to enjoy a kiss with someone you are not attracted too."

If the look on Blaine's face was anything to go by, that answer was not helping him at all.

"What do you mean?"

Kurt was not going to tell Blaine about the disaster that was Butch!Kurt, really he wasn't.

"Last year I got it in my head that my dad would like me better if I was more like him," he totally was telling Blaine about Butch!Kurt, "so I dressed in flannel and dated Brittany for about a week."

Blaine's raised eyebrow made it clear that he really wanted to know where Kurt was going with this story.

"Brittany and I made out during that period and while that mainly made it very clear to me that I'm not the slightest bit attracted to girls, it was still a pleasant experience."

If anything that seemed to confuse Blaine even more, maybe this was too heavy a conversation for someone with a hangover.

"I'm sorry, but I really don't get the point you're trying to make."

Clearly Kurt was going to have to dumb this down a whole lot.

"The fact that kissing Rachel didn't lead to you running to the bathroom so you could wash your mouth out, doesn't mean you're attracted to girls. And I hate to repeat myself here, but you were drunk. Trust me, Blaine, you're 100% gay."

While understanding had dawned on Blaine's face, he obviously did not appreciate Kurt telling him that Kurt knew Blaine better than Blaine knew himself.

"Why are you so convinced of that?"

"I'll admit that my experience with bisexuals is pretty much limited to Brittany and Santana, but there's a major difference between them and you. They check out girls while sober, you don't. I'm pretty sure you didn't even think about it before the kiss."

Blaine took a long sip from his coffee, most likely to consider Kurt's words and give him time to construct a coherent answer.

"You're right and what am I going to do now? I can't just call Rachel and tell her I changed my mind."

Kurt pointedly refrained from telling Blaine that he could and that people who were not Blaine would already be doing so. Blaine's gentlemanly behavior was one of the many things Kurt loved about him.

"Just go on the date and then kindly inform her that while she's a wonderful person, she's still a girl and you're still gay."

"Won't that hurt her feelings?"

There were times that Kurt cursed the fact that his love for Blaine rendered it near impossible for Kurt to direct his inner bitch at him and this was definitely one of those times.

"I'm sure she won't be too heartbroken over the fact that a drunken make out session and a single date didn't lead to anything."

The relief that spread over Blaine's face when Kurt said that made it all worth it.

"Now, I need to go call Mercedes," togethertoperformagayventiononRachelwas not said out loud, "I'll see you at school monday?"

"See you then, and Kurt?"

"Yes?"

"Thank you."
