Hello there. I found almost no joy in making this whatsoever, but I just had to. I just... started writing from my heart.

The world just seemed to freeze.

His gaze was interlocked with her's. On his face, a look of terror and unbelieving showed as hard as stone. On her face, a warm smile smothered in scarlet.

"Please… hold on one more minute… you'll be okay…" the boy said, choking back emotion. Rain pounded down, creating a glowing silhouette around his figure. The rain mixed with his tears. "Just wait… we'll fix you up, believe it—"

The girl silenced him with a shaky flick of her wrist. "I know where I'm going; Naruto… I can't stop that fact."

Naruto shook his head in disbelief. "No, Hinata. You can't leave me now…"

Her eyes clouded. "Naruto… promise me one thing…" Scarlet dripped down her cheeks.

"Anything…" he said, moving closer.

"Promise me… you'll meet me in heaven. T-try not to cause… trouble," she shakily ruffled his hair with a small smile plastered on her face.

"I will meet you there… believe it…" Naruto said, reaching out to her hand.

"And promise me… you'll be a good… hokage…" her voice faded as the sentence progressed. "I never told you, but… I love—" her voice cut off. Her eyes slowly closed and her body started to go limp. "Y-you…" Her last words: what she always wanted to say but never had the courage to say it.

"H-hinata…" Naruto said, shaking her softly in disbelief. "No… no…" he breathed.

She was dead now; forever awaiting her beloved in heaven.
