Disclaimer: The characters are obviously not mine, other wise would be
writing an
episode not a fanfiction. Unless I was Wolf and I liked to get my Ya-ya's out by making
the characters bunk up because I can't really do that in the show...ew. Be afraid, be very
afraid.
Serena woke up on the wrong side of the bed... literally. She was sprawled out over her
Bed, with her covers on the floor.
She sat up for a moment, when a stinging pain crept into her shoulders and neck.
She thought for a moment, trying to recall the dream she'd had the night before. It was
the same dream she had every night for almost a week:
Jack would be waiting for her at the restaurant. She would walk over and sit down to find
he'd ordered for her. He knew what she liked.
She'd smile at him, take off her coat, unable to make any abstract thought, because
somehow she'd know it was a dream. But she was ready to enjoy every minute of it.
After all, this was her dream:
to have jack treat her like an adult, to have him worship her the way she worshiped him.
She always felt like a child at work. A student. An aspirant, and Jack was her mentor, Her
Guru, so to speak.
She wanted so badly to be a part of the boy's club. The syndicate of men gathering
Around a table, drinking their expensive wines and smoking their two- hundred-dollar
cigars. She wanted so badly to be there, even though she didn't care for the smoke. It was
all about the status, the respect.
And now there he was. Sitting there. Instead of melting, she made conversation, and they
Spoke lightly over dinner.
When they were finished they both stood, and he put on her coat for her.
"So, your place or mine?" he asked, fittingly.
"Hmm...yours" She said, returning his flirty tone.
And the dream would always end the same way: Them thrashing around on his bed,
under his sheets, at least, the way her subconscious imagined them to be.
Serena reached back and rubbed the back of her neck, smiled and went into the bathroom
to take a shower.
