Lily was sitting in the common room after the start of term feast, beginning her last year at Hogwarts. Over the summer all she could really think about was James Potter. He may have been an arrogant, self-centered, toe rag, but Lily couldn't get him out of her head. She had rejected him for years, but now she seemed to have fallen for him. Lily kept denying it to herself over and over, but deep down she knew it was true. The only part left was for her to tell him... but how? How did you tell someone who you may have disliked them for years, but now all of a sudden you loved them?
James on the other hand had always loved Lily. Everything she did, her every action, the way she looked at him in dislike too, he had always known he loves her. And that compelled him to tell her in every opportunity he got and flirt with her to make her realize what he actually felt was her was very deep. So, on the very first day of the seventh term James vowed to make Lily his because he knew that she also loved him dearly.
