Miracle Town was known to be a place that lives greatly to the name. It was led by the benevolent Mayor, Ethan Interior, whose surname had been worn thin until rarely being used again. In fact, Ethan was such a spectacular mayor, he had the full admiration of townsfolk. However, there was one such townsperson that adored him more than anyone.
She had lived in the town since birth. The mayors beforehand always loved her childish demeanor as a pup. She had fur the color of bright gold, and a face that screamed "happy". Her name was Isabelle, and she was now Mayor Ethan's secretary. With pride, Ethan led the town to greatness, but he always knew it was not without the help of his assistant, Isabelle. Isabelle was often given seashells and even flowers for her help around the office. Isabelle always thought, "What gift could I give to the mayor today?" Oftentimes, it was a simple piece of clothing, or even a magazine from back in his home of Painter City. Ethan's guilty pleasure was gentlemen's magazines, filled to the brim with pictures of attractive girls in the strangest of poses. At least Isabelle thought the poses were strange. She tried them in the mirror sometimes, and it never felt right. She was just a dog, she could never have the looks of the women on those magazines.
There was some points in time where Isabelle would even cry over the body she was put into. Her father always told her she would find the bravest dog in the bunch, and she would be swept off her feet. However, her job as secretary restricted her to a town with only one dog, Biskit. Biskit was a decent guy, but never up to Isabelle's standards of a partner. Isabelle and Biskit were simply friends.
Isabelle had no home in this town, so she would sleep at the mayor's hall. She climbed into her bed, and gazed at the stars out the window. She then heard a knocking on her door. She spoke in a clearly depressed voice, "Come in."
It was Ethan. She gave him a slight smile, and Ethan held his hands behind his back and lit up nervously. Ethan approached Isabelle, and with no patience, he gave her a seashell. But this was no ordinary seashell. It was beautiful, painted pink, and held the design of a heart and a question mark. Isabelle put her hands over her mouth, eyes widening. Her face lit a bright red, and she simply shook her head up and down. She hugged Ethan, a bright smile on her face.
This began the story of Ethan and Isabelle, but something didn't feel right for both Ethan and Isabelle. They were of different species, and surely could never lay lips on each other, let alone spend their lives together. There must be a way to change this dilemma. Somehow, Isabelle had to become a human herself. This may seem impossible, both scientifically and physically. But Ethan's humble community wasn't called Miracle Town just for a name.
