Hello, there this is my first fanfiction. I got this idea in the back on my mind and I thought 'hey why the hell not?' and write it. I don't think I am really some author genius, actually I am studying informatics so literature or something like that is not my forte. Second English is not my main language. I can speak it but you know It is not perfect and If there are many mistakes I am very sorry about this. I hope It will not be painful to watch I tried my best to make it the best in my ability. Twins. She was having twins. Normally a mother would be happy about that revelation but Todoroki Rei wasn't sure what to think anymore. Since she was forced to marry that monster because of a near bankrupt situation in her family her life changed into hell. He was obsessed with being the strongest hero but was unable to reach the top. His obsession reached a limit when he decided that since he can't beat All Might he will create a hero that can, and that is where Rei has come. She was that unlucky woman who was chosen to give birth to his ultimate masterpiece. Rei wasn't known for being a physically strong person but her mind was strong. She could endure. But for how long? Would her children endure that much? She wasn't sure about that.
Her first child was a girl. Her hair was mostly white with red highlights and eyes had turquoise color from her father. She named her Fuyumi. Endeavor wasn't impressed and waited only a few months to try again.
The year later she gave a birth to her second child who was a boy. Rei didn't like that his appearance looked almost exactly as Enji. He had red hair and turquoise eyes like his father. But Rei wasn't stupid. She wouldn't judge her child because he looked like his father. She will love him anyway. She decided his name will be Toya.
Next child comes to this world 2 years after Toya. He was also a boy and to her joy, he got her white hair and grey eyes. It was already the third child and Rei was starting to get tired of this. But she could endure. For her children. She named him Natsuo.
She was glad that at least she could give a name to her children. Enji completely didn't care about their names. He only cared about their quirks. His own children were mere tools for him to satisfy his ego.
Year after the birth of Natsuo, Fuyumi quirk appeared. It wasn't anything special. She could control the temperature around her from cold to hot but that was only all. She couldn't create flames or ice. Enji immediately wrote her off as the failure. It was sad that someone could just scratch off his child like that but it was better for her that he didn't have any interest in her. Rei wasn't sure if she should be happy or sad. In one side Endeavor loses all interest he had left for his only daughter and left her without any kind of training. But on the other, there was a high possibility that he will try and make the next child.
In another year when Fuyumi was 5 and Toya 4, it was his turn for getting quirk. This was when a real hell started. She knew that when she saw his face. He was interested. Toya could generate extremely hot flames for his age. It was a powerful quirk. Not exactly what he was hoping for but it caught his interest. She knew that he had in mind some kind of training for him but what happened completely exceeded her expectations.
He just completely beat up his son and pulled him through training that no child his age should ever experience. He was giving him lessons in hand to hand combat and made him use his quirk as much as he could manage. Toya quirk was powerful. Almost too powerful for his own body. He was often hurt because his body couldn't handle that much heat.
Natsuo quirk wasn't anything special either. He could create ice but it was very weak. His body was getting cold to fast. When he was checked in hospital apparently his body and quirk didn't work well with each other. His body was made to endure heat but he could create ice. He was also written off as a failure even bigger than his older sister.
Enji continued on training Toya and stopped caring about the rest of the family. Rei tried to stop him multiple times but she was just pushed around or just hit. Endeavor was starting to be disappointed and angry with Toya and his lack of progress. He was more aggressive towards him and Rei felt that he will soon try and make the next child.
A year after the manifestation of Toya quirk she found out that she was having twins. She was in the fifth month of pregnancy when she got the news. In a time of pregnancy at least he didn't beat her up. She could possibly be carrying a child that can fulfill his ambition and harming her could harm a child so even Enji was careful.
And a few months later the time has come. It was her most tiring and difficult childbirth but she managed. But the moment her eyes looked at her newborns she felt her heart stop. They looked like they got perfect half of her and half of Enji. The left side of boy's hair was red and right was white. But that wasn't only the hair that was split in half. He possesses heterochromia, which causes his left eye to be turquoise and his right eye to be gray.
The second newborn was looking inversely. Her hair and eyes were also split in half but her left side had white hair while the right side had red hair. She also possesses heterochromia which causes her right eye to be turquoise and her left eye be gray.
She decided to name the boy Shoto, and the girl Izumi.
When Enji saw those children he was smiling. But it wasn't kind or caring smile. Oh no. It was a sick smile of accomplishment. She knew that those twins probably will have a quirk that will satisfy him and she was scared of this. Toya had powerful quirk but that wasn't enough for him.
Rei didn't want even imagine what kind of hardship he will put those children if they will have quirks he desires. She didn't want to know.
Every inch of his body was in pain. His training finally ended and he was given permission to rest. His body was full of burns and he didn't know how long he will be able to continue this madness. Since his quirk appeared his fath-Endeavor was putting him through this insane training regimen.
But lately Endeavor wasn't focused on him like before and Toya knows in what or rather who he was interested. His new younger brother and sister. Their unusual looks caught also his interest and suggested their possible quirks. Quirks that Endeavor desire. He was honestly scared for his newborn siblings but it wasn't like he could do anything. For now, he needed to focus on his own survival.
A year has passed and Endeavor was getting more and more impatient with Toya. He was unable to hold higher temperatures for too long and he was getting some serious burns that could stay permanently on his body. And one day his body didn't last.
"Pathetic" That was the only word that Enji had to say for his tired child. They were at their usual quirk training.
"Haaa Haaa Haaa I-I can't t-take an-anymore heat" Wheezed Toya falling on his knees. He was just to tried and his body hurt from burns and scars from hand to hand training.
"Tch. Your heat resistance is still pathetic just as your temperature control. If you can't handle that heat then lower temperature!" Enji shouted angrily at the child. He was thinking that he was just wasting time on him. But he still didn't finish this.
"Get up and cover yourself with flames again." Demanded Enji.
Toya stood up on shaky legs and proceed to emit blue flames around his body. After a moment of emitting those flames, they started to disappear.
"Don't you dare to let it go now! Endure this heat or lower temperature of flames! Stop being such a disappointment and do it, you failure!" Shouted Enji and on the word 'failure' something snapped in Toya.
He completely lost control over his flames as they grew bigger and hotter. In the air, you could smell a burning flesh. And then scream. Toya screamed on top of his lungs and couldn't stop even his flames from growing. He could hear some people screaming but he couldn't point their voices. He felt his flesh burn and he blacked out.
Toya woke up in his room. His body was in incredible pain, he didn't experience nothing like that ever before. Next to him was sleeping his mother with a medkit in hand. He managed to sit down in his futon and took a look at himself. His hands were in bandages. Well not only his hands but also his legs together with neck and the good part of his face. When he was examining himself his mother woke up. When she looked at him she started crying and apologizing.
"Toya I am sorry, I am so sorry this happened to you." She said between her tears.
My eyes finally found the mirror and I took a good look at myself."I guess this time those scars will not fade right?" He knew that much. Maybe if he could get fast and professional help in hospital but he knew he couldn't count on that. It would take too many questions and Endeavor wouldn't risk his reputation on some failure like him. Right failure he almost forgot that. After all of those torture sections that this man named training, he was just thrown up like some garbage. He didn't know what to think about this anymore. But he was sure of one thing.
"Mom I-I can't stay in this house anymore" He let those feelings out. He was holding this for so long. There were many times when he thought about running from this cursed house but he endured this. Because he still had his siblings and he didn't want to let them go. But now he had enough of this.
His mother looked on him with wide eyes almost not believing in what he said. But after a moment of thought, she said something that he wasn't expecting. "I understand. But if you really want to go just wait at least a week. Mom will think of something ok? I promise you this" She whispered to his ear.
So he waited. Endeavor wasn't looking on him anymore, he was now just another failure not worth of his time. He was feeling that he was getting crazy in this house but something in him wanted to believe his mother. So he waited. A week later in the middle of the night when Endeavor was in the middle of an investigation, his mother came to his room again with determined look on her face. But he noticed that she wasn't alone. In her arms was sleeping Izumi.
"Alright listen to me Toya. I am still in contact with my friend from high school. She is living in Shizuoka Prefecture which is pretty far away. Her name is Midoriya Inko. She is also married but her husband is sterile and they can't have any children even though they wanted. She knows all about my life and what is happening at this house and they agreed to take you in. " She said very fast in one breath. I almost couldn't believe in what was I hearing.
"I called a taxi for you. He will take you to the right house. They are living in block B in house 18a. And if you are really set on going I still need to ask you a request Toya" His mother face suddenly tensed.
"I want you to take Izumi with you" Exclaimed his mother."You shouldn't be traveling that late of a night but there is really no other choice for you this is now or never. This is your new chance in life Toya" Said his mother with a sad smile.
"I-I know mom. B-But why you need for me to take Izumi?" He asked her thought he was feeling that he knows the answer.
"She will not be safe here sweetheart. You know what he will put her and Shoto through when their quirks will appear"
"W-Why I can't t-take them b-both?" Toya asked through tears.
"I also wish you could but if we will take both of them then he will never stop searching for them. When Izumi will disappear he will be searching but I think when he won't find her immediately then after some time it is possible that he will give up. Because he will still have Shoto." His mother explained it to him as simple as she could."And he will definitely won't make this disappearance something and won't ask anyone for help. He is too prideful for that"
Toya only thought about it for a second and agreed."Alright, When I can go?"
"The taxi already waiting for you and I also packed some thinks inside the bag. Inside are some Izumi clothes. Inko said she will buy you some clothes so don't worry about that" His mother said it to him and give him Izumi showing how he should properly hold her.
She walked him off to the door and hugged him and Izumi one last time in a while."Be careful Toya also keep Izumi safe"
Toya hugged her back. "Don't worry she will be safe mom."
He got in the taxi with Izumi and waved to his mother one last time.
He was riding near 5 hours before he got in right place. Despite it was around 4 a.m he wasn't tired. He was running from home after all he got reasons to not be sleepy. He got a lot of time thinking about what to do. Living in a new house was tempting but his priority should be protecting Izumi and with his new scars that painted his face, he was recognizable. If Endeavor will be searching for them he will be looking for 2 kids so staying with her is risky. So in his ride, he decided what to do. He left Izumi near a door together with her things and while he called the door he ran away. It was for a better case he thought. Thanks to that Izumi should have a good life almost without worrying about an insane father who would want to take her back.
Toya knew he had to do something. He wanted to crush his pathetic excuse of a father into the dirt for what he did to his own family. But first, he needed to get stronger. Todoroki Toya was no more. He died while he pushed his flames to absolute limits and burned himself up. He will get himself the new name in time. He will make him pay.
Anddddd here ends the first chapter! Wow, this stuff is really hard to write. I will be writing this story when I will find a time for this. I am in the first year of university and don't want to fail it. This fanfic is the only hobby anyway sooo yeah. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing with this. See you :)
