Perfect.

As always, spreading her white magic . . .

Spreading her wisdom . . .

Spreading her strength, her power.

". . . comes down to you . . ."

And she was doing it . . .

" . . . lights up the night . . ."

. . . all for Misty Day.

. . . gypsy . . ."

Misty Day, who had been through so much.

". . . that remains . . ."

An eternity in Hell, Purgatory.

". . . freedom with a little fear . . ."

Mutilating the innocent, the helpless.

". . . have no fear . . ."

The frog.

". . . only love . . ."

Only to be saved be a creature of dubious nature. Doubtful intentions.

". . . enough to love . . ."

Someone Misty believed with complete certainty had to be . . .

". . . dancing away . . ."

. . . pure evil.

". . . you now . . ."

And she was weary. Weary. And so weak.

". . . left for you now . . ."

Shuffled and scattered and lost.

". . . gypsy . . ."

But The White Witch was here now.

". . . coming on down . . ."

And changing all that.

" . . . once, maybe twice . . ."

Pouring love and forgiveness and acceptance and belief into Misty Day's tired, fractured body and soul.

". . . comes down to you . . ."

Making her whole again, making her strong.

". . . see your bright eyes . . ."

Healing her.

". . . a wish . . ."

With her song.

". . . she was just a wish . . ."

Reminding her of who she was.

". . . lightening strikes . . ."

Had been.

". . . you're a gypsy . . ."

Could be.

". . . gypsy . . ."

Could become again.

"Gypsy."

So a lot of critics have complained that Stevie Nicks' song was too long and pointless.

And yes, for me personally, it did get very long.

But at the same time, I think this was what Ryan Murphy or whoever, was trying to get across.
