Luna Lovegood sat with her back against the cold cave wall. She couldn't believe, well actually, she could if she was being honest with herself.

It had all started when she'd heard stories about a group of cyclops living on an island in the middle of nowhere. Curious about whether the rumors were true or not, she ventured there. It wasn't like she hadn't told anyone where she was going. She'd told her boyfriend, Rolf, to come find her if she hadn't returned in two weeks.

"Still too small," one of the cyclops stated poking Luna with a large club.

"I'm not going to get any bigger," she stated. "This is as big as my species gets," she tried to explain. So far, none of the cyclops, there were five of them, seemed to understand anything she said. They at least spoke English and some ancient Greek. Luna couldn't speak ancient Greek, she could read some of it.

Heavy footsteps echoed outside the cave. Luna knew who was approaching. The leader of this group was named Shu. Luna had only met him once since she was taken into captivity.

"Still small. Small for human too," Shu added studying Luna with his large eye.

"Not all humans are the same size. Humans come in different sizes," she tried to explain for the twentieth time today. Shu continued to study her before he picked up her and brought her to his eye level.

"You girl human?"

"Yes," she answered wondering where Shu was going with this question.

"Where your tribe?"

"My tribe?" Luna asked slightly confused.

"We Shu tribe, where your tribe?"

"England, north of here," she answered pointing in the general direction.

"You talk pretty, you help Shu join Liht tribe!"

"Liht tribe?" Luna asked. She hadn't heard about another group of Cyclops, just this one. Shu nodded.

"Liht tribe that way, come human." He carried out of the cave and down towards a valley she hadn't seen yet. She looked down and saw smoke from what appeared to be a fire.

"The Liht tribe lives in the valley?" she asked. Shu nodded again setting her down.

"You make Liht talk to Shu!" he ordered. She took a deep breath and started walking down what appeared to be a goat path into the valley. There she was greeted by another cyclops. This one had long eyelashes and crushed berries smeared across her face. Luna blinked realizing what Shu wanted. All five who lived in the cave were males, this must be the tribe of females.

"Hello?"

"Hello, what be you?"

"I'm a human female, I was sent here by the Shu tribe."

"Shu? The cave tribe?"

"Yes, Shu," Luna stated. The cyclops nodded motioning for Luna to follow her. She led her to a tent in the center of the valley.

"Talk to Liht. She leader." Luna stepped into the tent and saw why Liht was the leader, she was larger than the other cyclops and much prettier.

"Shu tribe wishes to join Liht tribe," Luna stated echoing what Shu had said.

"Liht finds Shu tribe favorable, but Ligt tribe will not leave valley. Will Shu leave cold cave?"

"I will find out." Luna darted back to Shu

"Will you move to valley to join Liht?"

"Shu will move." Luna relayed this information to Liht, Shu followed her. Luna watched Shu take Liht's hand and step into her tent leaving Luna standing.

"You free go," Shu called out. Luna smiled and quickly made her way back to her boat. She couldn't wait to write about how she'd joined two cyclops tribes!
