Dear Fred,
It's been a while since you…. Well died. I hate to think of it because you were my favorite brother, you always were. Mum has been a wreck every since you died. She hasn't been stuffing us with food, or knitting us Christmas gifts. She just sits in the kitchen and stares at the picture of you on the wall. I know I shouldn't say this, but everyone knows. Mum cries at night just in her room and Dad, well he doesn't really look George in the eye.
Percy has been… not him. He stays in his room and doesn't talk to anyone. It is a little creepy because he just stares blankly at the wall. He has also stopped eating and he doesn't sleep. It worries me because when he does he talks in his sleep. His says things about it being his fault and it wasn't.
Charlie hasn't been home since the week after the war. He writes to me only though. He says things about people that look like Fred. We all know it's in his head.
Bill and Fleur are terrible. They have lost their youthful glow and they look pained. I feel sorry because Mum doesn't talk to anyone except Harry and me. It really affects Bill. Fleur she is the best of us all, still slightly happy. She does look about 15 years older now.
Ron doesn't shut up about Harry and me. He likes to be the happy one. He tries acting brave. Hermione said he cries from time to time. She told me about that time you kissed her in the library. She was a fifth year and it meant the world to her. She reads a lot more about death. She claims she will find a way to bring you back.
If you thought everyone else was bad just wait till you hear about George. I went to the joke shop and it was closed, but it has been for a while now because it reminds him of your death. If you think that is bad it isn't. He had either burned out or broken every mirror in your old flat. When he visits he stays in Ron's room. Mum removed the mirrors. Although she did George keeps Hermione's cosmetic mirror in his pocket and enlarges it at night. After that he leans in to the reflection and cries. He has night terrors a lot and the things he says in his sleep are even worse than Percy.
You may ask about me. I got a job at the ministry and I am looking into ways to bring you back. I have done a lot of research and I am almost there. Harry says I am really brave. I just know that you will come back to life and I will make sure of it.
