"Heaven"
She walks the quiet grounds, floating in the calming, predawn atmosphere that constantly envelopes her home. She doesn't consider it her home, no, not anymore, but she has no other place to go.
She tucks a stray lock of dark red hair behind her ear, her lips curving in a slight smile, her green eyes glistening with unshed tears.
Never before has she ever doubted any of her decisions in life. She is a stubborn girl, intent on taking care of herself, refusing to back down, especially when it comes to herself, her emotions. She is prideful, wary of others until getting to know them, and tending to be spiteful if they come to hurt her.
She now realizes, walking alone in this misty shred of memory, this beautiful Eden, that she should not be so quick to judge, should learn to give others a second chance. But then, she thinks, she'd been giving second chances her whole life.
Except once. And it is this exception that haunts her now, even here.
Especially here.
Lily Evans Potter is dead. She is supposed to be at peace, in Heaven, even.
This is her heaven. And yet, she finds it hell without him.
