Fiona looked at the man she'd fallen for many times over her heart pounding as she spoke. "This is the last time I'll chase you just tell me right now yes or no and I'll leave it at that. Period." Prince bubblegum looked at her in surprise before looking away a sorry look on his face. "It can never be."

1 month later

Fiona stared into her lover's eyes as he smiled at her. "You're really sure about this?" Fiona smile nervously but nodded. "I'm sure." He smiled his white teeth glowing in the moon light and bent down to kiss her.

I woke up seeing Fiona's sleeping face inches from mine. I pushed some hair out of the way and kissed her. Feeling her warm breath on my lips sent a shiver down my spine. With cake gone for the night we had the tree house to ourselves, but I knew she'd soon return and I'd have to run or explain myself and I didn't like either option.

Fiona soon woke smiling at me. "What are you doing?"

"Kissing you." She rolled her eyes and cuddled into me happily only to growl at a knock at the door. "You get it." I scoffed. "Why me?"

"Cause, I don't wanna." I rolled my eyes but stood pulling on my pants not bothering with a shirt and headed to the door and opened it finding the prince of Ooo on the other side. "PB?" I asked surprised by his visit. "Marshall lee? What are you doing here?" I blushed. Yes, I've been trying to get with Fiona for a while now, but I didn't think divulging what we did last night would be very gentlemanly. "Just…visiting."

"Oh…well is Fiona home? I'd like to speak to her about something." Something huh? "Come to apologize?" he gave me a shocked look. "Oh, don't look so surprised she told me what you said. Real cryptic." The prince glared at me. "What do you think you know about the situation?"

"Uh just about everything. I mean Fiona did tell me everything." There was light creaking and a thud behind me and I turned to find Fiona behind me. Aww she looks so cute in my shirt! "PB." She said awkwardly her face turning slightly pink. "It seems you've found a suitable replacement." Fiona gave a shocked and offended look before she glared and stomped over slapping him across the face. "How dare you! I spent a week locked up in this god forsaken tree house trying to keep any light from reaching me eating and crying myself to sleep over you and then I realized that's dumb, so I spent the next week going on adventurers alone! And then Marshall joined up with me and allowed me to confide in him and then he got injured so I brought him back here to rest up and only last night did we have our first kiss!" and other stuff. "So, don't you dare think I just went off for someone else. After you full on rejected me and get offended by it!" I was surprised at the power of her outburst, PB totally deserved it but…wow. PB was just as shocked as me. "I didn't-."

"Yeah! I know you didn't know, cause you didn't bother to ask you just assumed I'm a slut!" Damn! "N-no! That's not-!"

"Oh, yes it is what you meant and you know it! You got your last chance to have me and you turned it down with one dumbass crypt as fuck sentence! You don't get to come back an entire month later and expect me to be waiting for you! And you certainly don't get to get offended when I've moved on to someone who actually cares enough to show their feelings for me!" Fiona grabbed the door handle. "So, fuck you! And goodbye!"
