This takes place when all our friends are 16.

And it also involves someone no-one has ever met before.

Hoagie stood over at the buffet, loading his plate full with whatever food he could find.
He needed to get his thoughts elsewhere. He had seen Abby with some dude. With and old looking dude.
Now you think, whats wrong with that? Well, actually there isn't anything wrong with that, had they not kissed! Well, okay, it was on the cheek, but still, a kiss was a kiss.

Needles to say, Hoagie was jealous. When Abby had said she would come with him as his date, he had been overjoyed. But now, he wished he had never even come to this stupid ball. He even had the crazy idea Abby didn't want him as her boyfriend any more. Apperantly he had dressed up in his suit for nothing at all, since Abby's attention was fixated on that man.

He was a feet taller than Hoagie, was an African-American like Abby, and even had a small moustache!
"Damn guy.. stealing my girl.." Hoagie muttered angry, in-between two bites.

There! Now they were even dancing!

Hoagie had enough of this. He put away his plate, emptied his full glass with punch, and started to walk to the door.

"Hey Hoagie!" he heard, and turned around.

It was Abby, who was running towards him.

"Where are you runnin' of to boy?" she asked him, eyeing suspicious. "If Abby had known you was gona act like this, Abby would had come here with him" she said, motioning over her shoulder with her thumb, pointing out the guy she had been talking with.

"Why didn't you in the first place? Apparently you have been cheating on me for quite some time now!" Hoagie yelled at her.

Luckily they were near a speaker, and could no-one hear their argument.

"Cheating on you?" Abby asked, stunned. Then she suddenly smiled at him.

"What your smiling at now?!" Hoagie yelled, looking very angry.

"You think Abby has been cheating on you with HIM?" she asked, before bursting into laughter.

"What does it look like I'm thinking, dammit?" Hoagie said, tears in his eyes now.

How did she dare to betray him? How could she have?

When Abby's laughing had stopped, Hoagie seemed to be crying softly.

"Abby has not been cheating on you baby." she then said, with a smile on her face still.

"Then who is that guy?" Hoagie asked her in-between sobs.

"He's Abby's brother" she said, before kissing Hoagie on the lips.

And the reason why Abby kissed her brother, and had only attention for him, was because she havn;t seen him in a VERY long time.
