I loved them both.
I cherished them.
But they were taken away from me,
By those who trust in power,
And yearn to use its strength.
They were friends.
As close as any could be,
As happy as anyone could have been,
One survived with me in those terrible games,
The other had been with me through everything,
And during those last moments,
Two people that meet by fate,
Were taken away but fate as well.
Small and fragile,
Smart but innocent,
I loved them both us much us they loved each other.
They were my family.
