Kara nervously approached the bank, the gun hidden in her pocket. She didn't want to put bullets in this pistol, but feared the tellar would notice it was empty. She doubted anyone would recognize her through this costume, her cousin had taught her well. But Kara knew Clark probably wouldn't approve of this, but the truth is he likely would do the same for his parents. These bastards had her sister Alex, for all her powers she couldn't find where they were holding her. They demanded too much money, and there was only one way Kara could think to get it in this limited time. It certainly wasn't legal, but for her sister, Kara would do it. What exactly made these crooks think her family had $50,000 she didn't know. She could only imagine what they'd do if they knew her secret identity. Kara walked into the bank and patiently waited in line. When it was her turn she walked up to the tellar, and quietly showed her the gun. Kara demanded the tellar put as much money in the paper bag as would fit. The tellar obeyed. Kara saw and heard the silent alarm being pushed. Kara didn't want to hurt anyone for doing their job. Unfortunately it also seemed to tip off the two security guards. One seemed young, inexperienced, probably shouldn't have been put here so soon. This guard grabbed his gun and fired at Kara. But he wasn't a good shot. Kara rushed to stop the bullets, made sure noone got hurt. By this point the other customers were on the floor, noone saw the bullets bouncing off Kara's chest. When she knocked the guards unconsciouss, everyone assumed she'd murdered them, all they'd heard were the gunshots. Kara grabbed the bag with the money, and saw the cops arrive outside. She quickly dissapeared, people would have questions later. Kara arrived at the destination on time. She'd counted the money, over 60 thousand dollars. The kidnappers only demanded 50, so Kara made an anonymous donation to the local orphanage with the rest. These kidnappers did keep their word and returned Alex safely. The sisters hugged and quickly walked away. Luckily they didn't notice the bills were tainted with dye from the bank. As soon as they tried to spend this money, they'd be screwed. Kara hoped they'd keep quiet and be convicted anyway. If they talked, she'd have a lot of explaining to do.
