A/N: Inspired by a book store cashier whom I thank very much. Please enjoy. -Sevvie
Disclaimer: Draco Malfoy belongs to J.K. Rowling, not me... Sadly.
Draco was desperate. He didn't have any money and tragedy had struck. He was out of APPLES! So, he was doing what any other broke, apple less man would do…
"Sir! Sir, un hand that apple at once! You must pay for it, Sir! Sir, my apples are NOT free!" The shop keeper (his name was William, but that is irrelevant) of a local organic foods market shouted after the retreating form of the platinum- haired man.
"Never! I shall be reunited with my one true love!" Draco yelled over his shoulder.
'The man is mad! Completely bonkers! He needs to be locked up!" The shop keeper thought.
"Once again, my beautiful apple, we are together. Nobody can separate us now," Draco whispered to the bright, Slytherin green Granny Smith cupped in his pale hands.
He stopped and remembered the first time he had saw her. Shining, beautiful, amongst the jealous red apples. It was love at first bite.
"You are too perfect," he muttered, bringing the treat to his lips. The smell the apple was giving off made him weak in the knees. Just as he was about to take the first delicious bite, a voice interrupted him.
"Sir! Please drop the apple!"
Draco turned around to find a police officer pointing a gun at him. He glanced longingly at his beloved apple before gently placing her on the ground and raising his hands above his head.
The officer cuffed him and lead him to the police car that was waiting outside the alley Draco had been hiding in.
"Is it such a crime to LOVE?!" Draco cried. "I shall return, dearest apple! I shall return!"
Never again did Draco Lucius Malfoy see another apple again… The prison guards made sure of it.
