A/N: Well people this is my first time writing Merlin, so there might be mistakes. But please be nice and review. This is an Arthur x Merlin story. I really like the pair and hope to write more about them. Hope you guys like it! R and R ^^

Apple: Merlin liked apples. The forbidden fruit of Eden. Unlike Arthur he could easily have apples.
Book: Arthur hated books. They took Merlin's concentration away from where it should be focused on him.
Creature: Another magical creature attacked Camalot and put Arthur's life in peril. Merlin saved Arthur's ass again. All in all it was a normal day.
Destiny: They were each others destiny, the two sides of the same coin.
Element: Merlin liked to see Arthur in his element training the knights. He liked the way the sun shone down on the blond locks while Arthur's eyes were lighted in concentration. It didn't hurt that training or any type of fighting had an aphrodisiac effect on Arthur.
Frustration: "What do you think is wrong with him?" Gwen asked as she saw a rather moody Arthur make yet another servant cry.
"He is just sexually frustrated since Merlin isn't giving him any," Morgan smirked.
Gwen: It hurt every time he looked at Gwen, wishing he was in her place in Arthur's arm.
Homosexual: When Merlin first confessed to Arthur that he was gay, he expected either acceptance or disgust. He was totally unprepared for the bone crushing hug and soft kiss to lips that followed.
Interest: The first time Arthur saw him, he thought Merlin was an interesting character. He wasn't wrong.
Jealousy: Arthur growled as he watched the Prince of the neighboring kingdom flirt with his Merlin.
Knowledge: Everyone and I mean everyone, including Uther, knew about their feelings for each other long before they did.
Lazy: Arthur wanted to do nothing more than to laze around in bed, preferably with Merlin in his arms.
Magic: Merlin had envisioned the ways how he would reveal to Arthur that he had magic and Arthur's reaction. He however didn't imagine it would be when he unconsciously doing magic in his sleep.
Natural: It felt natural like breathing to love Merlin.
Owl: "Merlin, for the last time, you can't keep that blasted owl!"
Pure: The look of pure want in Arthur's eyes never failed to leave Merlin breathless.
Quiet: Arthur really hated it when Merlin gave him the silent treatment.
Rain: Their first kissed happened in the rain with both of them soaked to the bone.
Sex: It was awkward the first time they had sex, both being inexperienced, but to them it was wonderful.
Time: Time didn't matter. They had eternity ahead of them.
Unrequited: It broke his heart every time he saw Arthur and Gwen hug or kiss in front of everyone.
Virginity: "I lost my virginity, can I have yours?" Arthur smirked as he leaned towards Merlin suggestively.
"Arthur you already took mine," Merlin deadpanned.
"Oh right."
Watch: Arthur liked to watch the view as Merlin bend over to clean the floor.
X-mass: Arthur gave Merlin a collar with Arthur's name written on it as a Christmas gift.
Yuck: Arthur really hated Gaius' medicine. Merlin, for once, agreed with him.
Zzz: Merlin couldn't help but think Arthur looked absolutely adorable when sleeping.
