Katniss' POV:
When I walked to school today I saw a squirrel, flying. It was random, and that's where the weird things began. In school, my first class today, Friday, was Geography, I sit next to Peeta Mellark in this class, and a few others, he talks to me. "Hey, Hey Katniss!" "What!?" I ask, annoyed. "Knife!" he says, "Umm... Okay..." Just then I turned around and found a small knife on the other side of the desk. "Really Pitta!?" he giggles and says seriously "Its Peeta. P-E-E-T-A!" I roll my eyes and listen to Mr Abernathy be drunk and tell us about District 4, which makes Delly squeal and go on and on about Hunger Games champion. No one really likes Geography, only the people who used to live in another district, we have a few from District 1 and 2, Marvel, Glimmer, Gloss and Cashmere (twins) Cato and Clove, a district 7 girl, who is quite violent and likes to swear, Johanna, and in Prims class her best friend used to live in 11 called Rue.
"FINNICK ODAIR IS COMING THIS WEEKEND TO US FOR HIS ANNUAL TOUR!" Delly screams. "Del, shut up." Cato grumbles, we're all friends, all District 1 and 2, Johanna, Madge,Delly, Gale, Peeta and me. "Oh my god, really?" Cashmere asks. "Yeah Cashie, you Clove and Glim could come too!" Us five are in geography together, me, Peeta, Cash, Delly and Cato.
The bell rings and we scramble to our next class,boring boring boring!
"KATNISS! KAT! KITTY KAT!" I turn around to an impatient Delly, "What?" I ask. "Do you want to come and see Finnick Odair? All of us are, even the guys!" I nod "Finee!" and we both walk home, when we spot something unusual, I've only ever saw them when I watched The Hunger Games, a monkey, rubbing it's... Backside against a tree. "Well, that's certainly not normal..." Delly mutters, "I've been seeing weird stuff since this morning, well, i guess we better get ready for that Finnick tour!" I say and walk off.
A/N: okay! So I apologise if this is short, because it looks really short on my iPad, which is the only thing I can write on at the moment :/ well, probably no one will see this but oh well! Whose you're favourite character? Mines Finnick, Cashmere and Johanna! Hehe I have some funny nicknames as well, Finnypotamus, Gail the Fail (I made it Gail the Fail not just Fail because I got it off Peeta Mellark, Facebook Stalker, which is hilarious!
