How loud must I shout before you're through?
And see that I am right here before you...
I stand here staring at the sky, hiding my pain..
How many times must I cry?;
How many times must I lay in shame?;
How many times must I pry?;
To gain acknowledgement....
When will they know that I am here,
I wonder as I stand watching from afar..
When will the time come when I can be there,
with everyone else at the sand bar?
How much longer must I suffer?
I sit by the tree, listening to it groan.
Watching the other children, I cry...
