The Son of Neptune
Are you listening, hear me talk, hear me sing….. Victoria Justice: Freak the Freak Out, inspiration to write for now, updates may not be completely consistent, but I'll try to update at least once every week or two.
I own nothing except any new characters, it all belongs to Rick Riordan! :(

The thunder roared and rain crashed to the ground, as me and the others raced through the forest screaming for Jason, something was horribly wrong and we weren't the only ones who could tell, the forest was quiet except for our pegasi's hooves smacking the ground, the rain, and thunder.
"Jason" I cried almost desperately, knowing we weren't going to find him in the forest, his cabin was too clean as if there had been no disturbance, almost like he had gone willingly. But that's impossible, he'd never abandon me… us.
I jerked the reins and we came to haltingly to a stop, we wheeled around and raced over to Dakota. He spun around on his heels as he heard my pegasi, Snowfire, and I gallop to him.
"Did you find anything?" he asked me sounding horrified, his black air soaked and hanging into his gray eyes.
I shook my head, "Of course not." Whoever took him was to careful they wouldn't slip up as they finally reached the boundaries of the surrounding forest.
He nodded as if he expected this, the sorrow clear in his eyes, Dakota, Jason and me, had been friends forever, we were family and they were like brothers.
"Tell the others to return to base, its freezing and wet, we're all going to get sick. With Jason gone you realize what this means, our praetor, our general, and leader is gone." He muttered, "with the giants rising the camps going to be in a state of panic."
"I know that Dakota." As if I wouldn't, I thought bitterly.
He stepped closer and looked me in the eyes. "You can't leave" he demanded," I know that you'll want to go after him but you must stay at camp."
"I know Dakota, I will." I'll leave but in a few days, I have to find Jason we won't be able to keep fending off the attacks. Guilt lingered in the back of my mind though, leaving him to deal with everything himself was in no way fair.
"Come on," I said offering him a hand to pull him up behind me, waiting impatiently for him to take it. Silently he took the offered hand and heaved himself up as I dug my heels into Snowfire's sides, and he trotted off.
