Hello! This is Ignis. My first (and possibly last) fanfic for this account. Hope you enjoy it.

Tears splattered onto the two empty coffins as Hinata never saw it coming, no one ever saw it coming. She regretted that she hesitated for a split second on her Eight Trigrams Vaccum Palm. She regretted that she didn't stop Kiba from accepting the mission. She regretted that she didn't spend enough time with them. She regretted thinking Kiba was too loud. She regretted that she didn't try to talk to Shino more. She regretted everything.

-Two Weeks Ago-

"Your mission will be an assassination. You will assasinate an A-class missing-nin from Kumogakure. Name: Kurokawa Aki. Age: 13-16. Weapon: Double Swords. Her targets seem to be high ranking officials."Tsunade flipped to another page. "She has killed 20-30 people, 9 of them being officials, the rest, bodyguards or other ninjas." Tsunade fixed the papers and looked up at team 8. "Will you take it?"

Kiba snorted. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. We can handle it. Right Hinata?"

"R-right." She stuttered. I'm not sure of this she thought.

Tsunade sighed. "Fine, here's a p—"

"Alright, let's go!" Kiba shouted.

"Hold on!" Tsunade slammed her hand on the table, causing it to crack. "I'm not done." She opened a folder and took out a picture of a girl with white hair and brown eyes.

Kiba squinted at the picture. "Who is she?"

"She's the missing-nin. How do I know? It's very obvious." Shino muttered.

"Shut up! I knew that." Kiba looked closer. "Huh? She's suppose to be dangerous? She looks younger than us."

"Don't underestimate people. Why you ask? Because if you do, you'll suffer the consequences." Shino muttered.

"I already said to shut up!" Kiba glared at Shino.

"Kurenai."

Kurenai, who was smiling at Kiba and Shino, suddenly stood straight. "Yes Godaime-sama?"

"Go with them. If anything happens, call for reinforcements." Tsunade instructed.

Kiba scoffed. "We won't need any reinforcements."

Tsunade ignored Kiba. "Dismissed."

"Before we leave, Godaime-sama, why are going after a Kumogakre ninja? Shouldn't Kumogakure handle this?"

"She was a quarter of an inch of killing the Fire Daimyou." Tsunade bluntly said.

"What?" Kurenai exclaimed. "And you're sending my team? Why don't you send the Jōnins instead?"

"Relax." Kiba grinned. "We can handle him."

"Her." Shino corrected.

"Would you quit that?"

"No, why? Because if I do, you'd embarass us even more."

Kiba glared at him, grinding his teeth, and mumbled a string of highly colorful words.

Tsunade ignored him. "Go."

"Yes!" Team 8 shouted in unision and left the room through the windows.

Tsunade heaved a big sigh. Her eyes suddenly clouded with worry. "I hope they will be fine."
