Erza Scarlet's classroom was always quiet, her students always on their best behavior. Everyone was afraid of the red-haired teacher, including her peers (especially Natsu Dragneel and Gray Fullbuster). She was known for being a heartless demon who would destroy anyone who crossed her.
In all honesty, Erza actually had a huge heart, but she hid it behind the armor of her outward demeanor. She had been hurt once before, and she was afraid of being hurt once again. After her childhood love had disappeared, Erza had never been the same. She hid what she truly felt from the rest of the world and wore a stony mask that protected her from being hurt the way she had before, although that mask hurt her in its own way.
Erza was on her way home. The day had been long, and all she wanted was to get home and relax... and maybe even take a long, hot bubble bath while she was at it. Oh, and then have a slice of cheesecake, before she had to head off to dinner with her peers and the superintendent of the school she worked at, Makarov Dreyar.
Her walk, however, was interrupted by the sound of someone crying. Erza frowned and stopped walking, glancing around her for whoever was making the sound.
There, a flash of blue hair. Erza was momentarily reminded of something from the past, but she pushed aside the memory and approached the blue hair that she saw moments before.
A small girl with blue hair was seated on the ground outside of a shop, crying her eyes out. Erza frowned and knelt in front of her, but right as her knee hit the ground, the girl called out, "Jellal!"
...Jellal?
