Chapter 1
Two bodies

It's the sixteenth anniversary of Tris' death, Christina and I go to the fence every year, knowing if we avoided the fringe, Tris would still be alive. The doorbell to my apartment rings, Christina, and I open the door.
You okay?" She has tear stains on her cheeks, and she shakes her head.
"It's fine." It's the same every year, but we start to walk towards the glass building to catch the 12 o'clock.
We wanted a proper burial for Tris, but the body disappeared as Christina bawled our eyes out in another room, not able to believe the news. Christina most likely has survivors guilt, I remembered when her and Tris were in initiation, how they used to eat with their friends Al and Will. Now, it's just her whose still breathing, whose heart continues to beat. Everything's been different, we even lived without factions for three years until we decided to reinstate the Faction System.

We are feet away from the fence until Christina stops in her tracks.
"What-" I gasp, two bodies lay on the ground, one head surrounded by a halo of blonde hair. One of them reveals to be a girl, she rubs her eyes and sits up. And I feel like crying, the girl looks almost exactly like Tris, then the other body rises, and Uriah, the boy who died in a coma, stands.

Sorry for the short chapter! I promise I'll continue if you like it!
