i. Honey Apple Tea

Harry tiptoed to the dungeon door, none other than Professor Snape's heavy, wooden double doors. Harry didn't exactly know why he was in front of Snape's door at midnight, barefoot no less.

He could feel the chill in the autumn winds, as it echos down the empty dungeon hallways. Harry sighed, and made himself comfortable outside the door and sat down with his knees hugged up under his chin, back against the cool wooden door.

His thin pajamas didn't quite hold the match to the lowering temperate, and Harry could only wrap his invisibility cloak tighter around him to keep himself as warm as possible. What a silly thing to do, to have left his Gryffindor coat behind in the dorm room. With a second consecutive sigh of the night, Harry frowned and pouted at his lips at the darkness behind Snape's latched doors.

Harry sat there under the dim lights of the torches that barely kept the corridor navigatable. After what seemed like ages, Harry lifted his head up from his knees groggy-minded. Noticing through cracks the still-present darkness under the door, Harry sighed for the last time of the night and stood up slowly, stretching out his sore limbs curtsey of the hard, cold floor.

"And why, might I have the pleasure to ask, do I have the honor of having a guest at this hour from the one and only Potter?"

Harry whirled around and there was Snape, standing with his arms crossed only a few feet away from him.

"You're back!" Harry said with a huge grin plastered on his face as he pulled the invisibility cloak off.

Snape only raised his eyebrow disapprovingly at the lack of proper attire Harry seems to be donning in the chilly dungeon corridors. "Anyone else would have stepped on your sleeping form and broke something if you keep doing this at the oddest hours," commented Snape," now tell me what are you doing in front of my door at 2am in the morning? What would you have done if I hadn't came back tonight as planned from Dumbledore's mission?"

Harry's eyes averted from Snape's intense gaze as he replied, "well... I would probably go back to my room when I wake up..."

Snape rolled his eyes and grabbed Harry's collar from behind like a kitten, and ushered him into his room. "Next time, at least have the common sense of waiting when I AM ACTUALLY HERE. This takes all the fun out of it," said Snape, "and don't expect me to do this every time you have a sudden pang for something 'sweet and warm.'"

Harry only smiled and asked, "So now will you make that honey apple tea you always make me?"

Snape grunted, "What am I ever going to do with you?"

The door closed behind them as he ruffled Harry's unruly hair, an inaudible chuckle escaping him.
