I'm now walking to the third fire for me to light. I zone out thinking of how happy Katniss will be when she comes back and sees how good I did in the plan and before I know it I'm trapped in some kind of net. I'm trying to pull it off of me but I can't I'm now pinned to the forest floor. I try to rip the net but in does not work- I'm not strong enough. I can almost imagine the smiling faces of the careers about to kill me right now.
Before I know it, I will be dead so I decide to scream my last plea of help. "Katniss…. Katniss…Katniss help!"
Moments later Katniss comes. She quickly cuts the net with her knife. Once I'm free, I jump into Katniss arms. We stay in this position until we both see Marvel. Before I know it Katniss lets go of me and she shoots an arrow, but just before the arrow hits his body he throws a sharp spear at my stomach. I look down and I'm already bleeding. I pull the large spear out of my stomach and a sharp pain comes. When I fall to the floor, Katniss catches me and lays me down. "It's ok, its ok, everything will be ok." Katniss whispers frantically.
"Did you blow up the food?" I say curiously.
"Every bit of it." She says almost crying.
"You have to win…." I say as Katniss glances at Marvels lifeless body.
"Can you sing?" I hardly say. Everything is blurry and I'm losing so much blood. She nods and clears her throat.
Deep in the meadow
Under the willow
A bed of grass
A soft green pillow
Lay down your head….
After that everything goes blank and I see my grandma and my younger sister. I smile and run to hug them.
"We have been waiting for you." My grandma says as she returns my hug. "You're home now."
"How are they doing?" I say.
We look into the sun set and I see my family. My mom, my brothers and sisters are sobbing. I look at my dad and he is hugging my mom and he is even tearing up himself. The sun set changes into something else. Katniss is putting flowers around my body. She kisses my forehead and then kisses three of her fingers and puts them up in the sky. A couple tears come out of her eyes but she stays strong for the cameras. The sun set turns back into a pink color.
I'm happier here. Peeta and Katniss won and got to go home together. I am very happy for them. I wish I could congratulate Katniss and Peeta in person, but I can't.
