Author's note: I do not own Pretty Little Liars. Set just after the end of season 3. I wrote most of this months and recent revelations have changed everything for these two, but I wanted to put it up anyway.
"I would die for you. I will always be here."
Jenna was glad she still had her glasses on, so Shana couldn't see her rolling her eyes. "I know. Come here." She embraced Shana sincerely. Jenna had little patience for Shana's more intense declarations of love, but they were one of the few honest things in her life. "Let's go inside."
She grabbed Shana's hand. Not for guidance, but out of a rush of affection. They went upstairs to Shana's attic room. Shana sat at her desk, typing away while Jenna took off her glasses and laid back on the bed. Soon, Jenna became restless.
"Shana," she said in a honeyed whisper, nudging Shana with her bare foot. "This is a good day. I can and will see all of you."
"Just wait. I've got an inventory sheet to finish."
"Fine, Ms. Costume Shop. Do your work, then me." Shana looked like she had to use great restraint to not strip her down right then, but she turned back to her computer with a frustrated sigh.
As silently as she could, Jenna began to unbutton her top and position herself in a suitably seductive way, one arm draped across her torso and the other stretching toward the headboard. Jenna looked over and saw Shana was still determinedly looking at the screen. She really was beautiful. Jenna was tempted to reach out and stroke that beautiful dark hair, but she didn't want to interrupt her.
Jenna wasn't in love. Jenna didn't think she'd ever been in love. But she did like being with Shana. Sometimes her intensity was off-putting, but the connection was genuine. No matter why Jenna had begun this relationship, it never felt as if she was taking advantage of Shana. She had faked an "I love you" here and there, but she was content.
"All right," Shana said finally. "You have my undivided attention," she added, sliding over to the bed to push Jenna's bra up to caress her bare chest.
"It's a very good day," Jenna thought.
