Ready-Room Argument
Disclaimer: I do not own Star Trek: Voyager. I don't own the characters, either. In fact, I really don't own anything. I just use these characters to amuse FanFic fanatics like myself.
Note: Just a silly little story about an argument between Tom and the Captain.

"Most certainly not!" Captain Janeway shrieked.
"But captain," started Tom Paris. She cut him off.
"No, Tom, this is unacceptable!"
"But-"
"No, Tom! You may NOT have permission to dye Tuvok's hair bright orange!" Janeway was furious that Tom wanted to do this.
"But I wanted to-" Tom tried to explain.
"NO! You also may NOT have permission to remove Chakotay's tattoo without his consent! And frankly I'm surprised that you would want to turn B'Elanna's skin forest green." Janeway was sure that would be a turn-off.
"It's-"
"No!"
"CAPTAIN!!!!" Tom bellowed.
"Mister Paris!" Janeway was shocked. Tom had never yelled at her before. Barely anyone contradicted her at all, much less yelled at her.
"Listen to me! It is an April Fool's joke! I was going to set up fake mirrors in the hollo-deck! They'd look into the mirror and see themselves radically altered. It is an illusion! I wanted to get your permission to secure the deck that evening!" Tom said furiously.
"Oh," the Captain sat in her chair, feeling very embarrassed. "Very well then. Dismissed."
"Thank you." Tom said sharply and turned on his heel to leave.
